I'm on a very strict diet and decide today would be my "cheat" day. So I ate about a dozen oreos.
Now I'm violently ill. Been throwing up and crapping my guts out for the last hour.

Fixed a fucked up belt in my car today, runs like a dream now. Been trying to cut down on smoking more too, but that's a habit that comes out way more when I'm fucking around with my car.

Despite wanting to lose a few pounds I overdosed on gluten-free spaghetti and homemade sauce.
Somebody send brownies, it's my only chance for survival.

I can't stop sneezing and it's fucking me up trying to react to posts in forums. No, I did not mean to hit Optimistic instead of Horrifying for a post regarding CWC's recent... issues. Fuck I hate my sinuses. I've taken everything I can but they're still killing me.

Got me a fuckin cold. I was hoping it was just one of those 24-hour bugs but it's persisted for a couple days now. It's the first time I've been sick in years. Must have caught a chill, the weather is beginning to cool rapidly.

You've been sleeping more and more lately, for longer and longer. I hope this is just due to a messed up sleep schedule. I couldn't bear to think of the alternative.

Feeling pretty crap due to the state of the world. It could be so much better if people just stood up for themselves. Instead, people nod and agree with whatever they're told and turn on family and friends who dare to disagree.

So much fear.
I could be wrong, but we do tend to view people who break the peace negatively. But at the same time, we also don't want to draw negative attention to ourselves. Sometimes it's good to take a break. Maybe on a day off just have a no internet day. Just get out of the house and enjoy nature. If it's a rainy day, maybe read a book. Spend some time away from things like social media and etc.

Thanks. I think I may actually do that tomorrow. I had meant to take some time to disconnect.

Got the job in Colorado! Rocky Mountains here I come!!!

So glad fall and winter are approaching.

My understanding is that potatoes are not that difficult to grow. Got any pointers?

Managed to cut down on the benzos and booze somewhat, probably because the COVID crisis is settling down and in turn the healthcare system where I work isn’t strained to shit. It’s also been a while following my dad’s funeral, so I feel much better for it now, especially now that all the pressure to keep myself together is gone. Feels like a vice getting taken off my head and I can finally move on.

Maybe I can finally kick the bad habits by the end of the year, who knows.

Pretty optimistic, all in all.

I wasn't looking forward to getting into work but when I did we were told to go straight back home and WFH, internet 🅱️roke. I'm starting to feel exhausted working here. We have hard deadlines for projects coming up and we're buried under PRs from overseas developers. There's only four of us, and no project manager so stuff bounces in priority constantly at a whim. The pay is good, but that's about it.

So yeah, could be worse but could be better.

They're not, it's super easy. If you want the most perfect and beautiful potatoes you have ever seen, grow them in sawdust, it's like an old hydroponics method. The downside is that they will taste like sawdust. So put them in the dirt instead.

Someone broke into my car over the weekend. Thankfully, only a phone charger was stolen.

Work load: up.

Work ethic: down.
