Not too fitting for the thread but i need to vent somewhat: Ordered new headphones, came today and surprise, surprise, they're shit. For the first time i broke my "Never, ever buy anything shilled by Youtubers" rule, bought those Raycon Everyday earbuds. Good deal because of Black Friday (though i only got 20% off a week ago, they were 30% off today) but this shit is worse than my 10€ no-name wired head phones. I am this short of printing out and wearing a "Fell for it" award. Hope they won't have me jumping through too many hoops to get my money back, the return service already isn't automated for customers outside of North America so i had to write them a mail asking what to do like a sub human. Already counting on having to eat the outrageous 14€ shipping costs. Thanks, Obama.
Pretty much how i see it, especially the last sentence. I think it gets easier with age to accept things because you have spent more years eating shit in some form or another so you're kind of used to it, stuff that would've (and definitely has) killed 20 year old me on the inside hardly even registers with mid-30's me anymore. I do think i am much more jaded than the average person though and the main reason for that is decades of poverty. Even now while being much more financially stable i can't really enjoy it, "too little, too late" might as well be tattooed on my heart.
