Feeling better after sharing my story to the farms (if ya know ya know)
Super excited about a package my friend is sending me in the coming days since i've never had Aero chocolate before.
Overall i'm doing better and I feel a bit lighter but I could still be doing better.

I made a reference to Frisky Dingo, a cartoon that came out like three years ago. Then, I searched it because I remembered it being pretty funny and oh fucking balls it came out fifteen years ago and some of you fucks probably have fuzzy preschool memories of your Dad watching it.

Not bad but unable to sleep, I'm healthy and have a roof over my head so it could be much worse.

Damn that Xander Crews!

Can’t sleep at night even without naps and I keep physically moving. Next therapy appointment isn’t until the end of the month
Tried melatonin?
The optimal dose is under 1 gram, there's is a lot of myth that you need more. Probably just to sell you more.

There is a positive correlation between the amount of things on my to-do list and the number of people interrupting me by adding to that list.

I did not do the thing. It really seemed like I had, but no.

*sigh*

I guess I'll have to keep trying.

I’m the sole cashier at my store for 6 hours. Normally I’d be backup cashier and stocker. Now I have to get bored to death standing at a register when I’m not stressed about checking people out. The last 4 hours it will just be me and my manager.

This job has made me realize how much more freedom I had at my last cashier job. And how much “easier” it was.

1.) I could sign into any register. Here I have to use the same one my whole shift and cash out the drawer at the end of the day. Never had to do that before.
2.) I could void any item or entire transactions. Made it super easy to go back and fix mistakes or take items off. I also could use it as a price checker, then void the transaction. Now I have to get a manager for every little thing.
3.) Related to the last one, I could type in any discount manually. I could also change the price.
4.) my last job also used planograms. So every item had a place and you could scan it and easily find it. But here each store decides where to allocate shelf space. Our scanners can tell you IF we have it, but not where on the floor at all.

I get why 1-3 are like that. Some stores don’t want cashiers to abuse those abilities and every corporate is different. But I miss it.

Close friend's birthday tomorrow. Gonna head to his place armed with a memory stick full of Futurama episodes. Cook some food, eat some snacks, maybe some beers. Did the same thing with The Simpsons like 3 months back, it was dope as fuck.

I've reached a milestone on a big project I've undertaken on my parents behalf. My mom has been very appreciative. I don't think my dad has even noticed despite the fact I've saved him thousands of dollars.

Continuing to make progress. Monday started walking a mile in the morning before breakfast. Not fast, use the cane, but getting it done. Legs feel good, limiting factor is the back. Lets me know when I have gone far enough. As time goes by will walk further. Today also cleaning house. Nothing heavy, rest between tasks. Same approach I used to recover from open-heart years ago.

Today is the birthday of the brother after me. Would have been 64 today, but will always be 27, killed driving drunk, one-car accident. Mother never got over the shock, died the next year. Seriously, don't drink/get high and drive. What you do can affect people who aren't even in the vehicle with you.

Wait how old are you?

Also woke up early and got a lot of shit done while taking only an hour nap

I'm 66.

House is clean, laundry in dryer. Also set up new music system. Resting now, feeling close to maxed out back-wise for a but. Back is limiting factor on all physical activity.
