It works for everything, Tiger Sauce:

Just bought some Nando's hot sauce. Pretty decent. Usually just use tobasco.

I read a thread like this on SA (it's OK if you stay to niche forums like the hobby ones) and they had some dude suggest Hank Sauce. It's not that bad, kinda pricey but any of the specisl, not off-the-shelf national brands. I got the Honey Habanero and the Witches Brew, neither is super hot off the bat but the Habanero especially builds on you. My sister likes the Witches Brew better, and I could see more applications for it because it's a little smokey and robust. Neither are the vinegar hot sauces you like shake over your food where you're getting a lot of vinegar tang and some heat, they just pour out, and they're very flavorful but can overpower your food if you aren't careful. Both are good on eggs, Witches is excellent with migas (with smoked ham, bacon, peppers and onion, eggs tomatoes and chips). Habanero is good, and good for mixing with mayo to make a spicy mayo that really cuts through.

Louisiana Crystal hot sauce is my favorite. It's probably too mild for people that like really hot sauce, but I find that overly strong hot sauces to overwhelm a food's flavor and you just wind up with heat. I prefer something like this that adds a bit of heat and spice without covering up the flavor of what I'm eating.

Favorites:

Sriracha (still one of the best really IMO)
Frank's Red Hot (to me this is basically ketchup but not shit)
Most anything you can dig out of an Asian grocery (the SE Asians don't fuck around when it comes to heat)

sririririaichcha is nice as a ketchup alternative
tapatio is a little more on the "sauce" side than the "hot" side but is good stuff
tabasco is okay but it ends up making things taste like tabasco instead of the thing but hot
aldi generic franks/louisiana is pretty good for a franks type thing
I don't really go into the gimmicky "melt you to death" sauces

also yeah there's some chili paste in a jar from the asian mart that's good stuff, sorta hyper sirracha / cocktail sauce

Most of Bravado's stuff is reasonably easy to find and pretty good. I've just about finished a bottle of their serrano and basil hot sauce, and it goes VERY well on pizza.

I like valentina and cholula which are about the only ones you can get here other than Asian stuff which I'm just not that mad about. Though I do keep some chili crisp and sriracha in the house for when I'm cooking Asian.

I'll try out pretty much anything though. There used to be a guy selling homemade sauces at a market near me and he had a raspberry one that was fucking divine on a nice chopped salad. Only about as hot as the black label valentina so not v hot at all. I like being able to taste things after eating hot sauce anyway

I've been trying to make my own with not much success. It turns out fine in turns of being a sauce I guess I just can't get hot enough chilis here.

I've another batch in anyway using red eye? Chilis from the chinaman, hope they're hotter than the generic red chili I used before

I've tasted hundreds of habanero hot sauces and although this one is not the hottest by any stretch none have matched up this one as far as taste is concerned, however getting hold of a bottle is damn hard.

On the other hand for least favorite "Lol-Tun" and "El Yucateco" (Caribbean style, regular is fine I guess), hold a special place in my heart, both taste like vinager and jalapenos left on the freezer for months and yet they are the ones that I always come across when going out to eat. bleh.

I fuck with anything chipotle flavored when I need some taste enhancement. Most smoky sauces aren't very high on the heat scale so I keep some super hot stuff around and spread it out with a toothpick if I need some of that sweet burn. There is something weirdly satisfying about torching your mouth, its an acquired taste just like liquor.

I finally bought so, and goddamn, it has no business being as good as it is. I eat it on my eggs every morning now. I mixed it with some honey and ate it on fried chicken, amazing!
Yeah you expect a hot sauce and get something more like the chad version of ketchup and mustard.

Hot sauce and sour cream make a great combo. The heat from the hot sauce blends with the coolness and thickness of the sour cream. Best with Mexican food.

And I hate spicy food.

Sounds like evil white people have corrupted your tastebuds. Melanin is meant to give you superpowers, so fucking act like it, son.

That's why ranch dressing is a staple with hot wings. Helps tamp down the heat somewhat.
