A hot sauce brand I like is The General's Hot Sauce (which also has stuff like seasoned salt and spice blends). It's founded by and employs veterans, and from the hot sauce perspective, all their sauces are 86% peppers and very simple in ingredients.
I haven't had a bad product from them and on top of that, I like reusing the grenade-shaped bottles for my own sauces.
Will agree, though still need to try other ones besides jalapeno, but damn that one was good.View attachment 9000049
Yeah, this is peak.
They sell that in a powdered form? I got a bunch of green and red peppercorns for a Mala hotpot on New Years; I might need to head over to the chink later and snag some of that. Will agree, though still need to try other ones besides jalapeno, but damn that one was good.
Not sauce, but finally remembered to get szechuan green pepper powder today and damn did I miss it.
Oh yea they do, but look for it and don't just grab the normal yellow powder plastic jarette thing. They sell that in a powdered form? I got a bunch of green and red peppercorns for a Mala hotpot on New Years; I might need to head over to the chink later and snag some of that.
Imo chili oil is better than hot sauce because fats carry flavor better than water/vinegar does and thus it combines more smoothly with what you're putting it on.Does chili oil count as hot sauce because I cannot stop putting the shit on everything
