A few days ago, I learned that "Tabasco" is the word used for all hot sauces in this area, even though everyone eats Frank's. I asked a lady at church to pick me up some Tobasco from the store since she was making a run, and she said "What brand?" Like, what do you mean, what brand, I just gave you the brand. Then she came back with Frank's. Ohio people are weird.
Imagine living in Ohio. :smug:
Gyats to the left, rizzlers to the right, and fanum tax dead ahead!

If you want to finish your bottles of extremely hot hot sauces faster, Put like a teaspoon of it in a Mr. noodles cup or Mac and Cheese cup. That's what I do. Doesn't work too well with extract heavy sauces (Like Da Bomb Beyond Insanity) not because of the heat but because of how gross it is so it's better to mix it with something good like Los Calientes or Karma Sauce Scorpion Disco.

Down at a mall I frequent, there's this one place that sells hot sauce and stuff that I really like. I wanna go there again sometime, although my parents are concerned about my hot sauce collecting. I have so many bottles I might need a minifridge in my room to keep them all in! ;)

On occasion, I get some of The Spicy Shark's hot sauce. They're usually pretty good about the balance of spices (capsaicin to flavor), and I like it because they don't go overboard with the vinegar taste like what other companies like Tabasco seem to do. I've had their Ghost pepper sauce and I kind of want to try their Carolina Reaper sauce just to see what it's like.

The ghost pepper sauce wasn't as horrendously hot as I thought it would be. I know the sauce got featured on Hot Ones at some point or another, but I didn't find out about the fact until after buying a few bottles. They're about $9 for 5 oz. It's not super expensive, because a bottle will last me several months.

My favorite is the Chili Lime Cholula, but I think it's been discontinued. I haven't been able to find it for a while... (:_(
According to their website, it should be sold on Amazon and/or Walmart (depending on location). They also have a handy finder here where you can see which stores around your area (assuming you're in the US) sells it.

A hot sauce shop opened up near me so I’ve been sampling heaps of different types from all around the world. My normie go to is Tabasco, I prefer vinegar based sauces to the rest. My wife bought me this hot sauce for Christmas made out of Pepper X which just became the hottest pepper in the world. It’s pretty mental, you don’t need much at all but the flavour is great.

I found this company from watching Hot Ones last season or so and they have some actually unique sauces (as opposed to ones in pretty packages.)

I didn't have high expectations for this one but it may be becoming one of my favorite pizza toppers of all time, it's very unique:

This other one is unique, it's very hot and it has a raspberry flavor that isn't very sweet...

Can someone recommend me a good pepper jam I can buy easily online in the states? Anything under $20, looking for good heat, maybe between jalapeno and habanero, but not overpowered with sweetness. Ive been on a pepper jam kick lately, adding it to all my sandwiches.

I tried this and zero heat, all sweet. Its ok with a ham and cheese, better if you add some kewpie mayo.

Good question, I've had that exact same shit and it's "just ok" like you said.

Guys, am I autistic for putting taco hot sauces on sushi? Because it's a thing I've been doing a lot recently and it's actually really good. There's this one taco stand down the road and I usually go every Tuesday-ish, I decided to try putting the hot sauce they give you for free on some unagi (roasted eel) sushi and it fucks for no reason. I have no idea what the sauces are made from besides the ghost pepper one, but the green sauce has to be my favorite. Flavorful with a spicy kick! Next time I go, I'll ask.

Interesting. Have you ever put ghost pepper powder in coffee?

Is anyone a fan of sambal paste? I eat it out the jar sometimes it's that good.

That sounds nice I'd probably do something like that too.

I am. SEA food is where you go for spicy. Mexican just has that reputation because gringos can't even handle a jalapeno or god forbid, a habanero, even though habaneros aren't that difficult to eat by themselves.

Put some hot sauce on anything you like. Ain't nobody can tell you you're wrong.
I remember absolutely loving the Heinz Ghost Pepper Ranch when it was out, went great with fries, grilled cheese and other stuff. It's a shame they don't have it anymore last time I checked.
