Big cats can be fuckin terrifying, and in a barbaric setting where humans aren't so hyper equipped for any and every perceived danger you could easily have a new mum stalking and killing everything within a few mile radius of her cubs, and the victims would all be those white twats who head out a'wassailing to their glamping sites with their expensive ear buds and never have any idea they're being stalked. As long as the cat wins, I'd absolutely check it out. Could probably get a decent kill count too. Those eyes are full of eternity. No fuckin way they ain't scary.

I've pet a Florida Panther before (the actual animal, not a hockey player), and it's as awesome as you'd think it would be. Jaguars are thinner but they still need ear scritches.

Dunno if its been brought up before, but given the OG movie's popularity on this thread I feel it worth mentioning that there is an "Official" Event Horizon prequel comic which I inadvertently became aware of while looking up some vaguely esoteric demon who was in a horror movie I recently watched

Actually a much bigger boy, but less thickness. I think because jaguars are more arboreal than panthers. Jaguars can get up to 250 lbs, and Florida panthers only get up to like 180 (although I'm sure the one I petted was bigger than that since he was pretty much domesticated), but jaguars are much more lithe and less stumpy.
As cheap and pandering as it would have been, I would legitimately have preferred if it was an actual Slaaneshi daemon revealed to be behind everything as a sudden and abrupt confirmation that the movie is canon with 40k.
