For me, its just the general feeling of being right but nobody believes you, and you are portrayed as a psycho. I dont want to sound like a faggot, but unfortunately, I love psycho, artsy, A24 horror without big jump scares.

Well, when you call it "A24 horror", you do make it sound gayer. They already had that kind of thing but with less indie quirkiness. Your nowadays movies need more fog, castles, and pipe organs, and graveyards, and ghosts, and possibly paintings with eyes that move.
 
Watched "Outpost" on Shudder a few days ago.

An enjoyable twist on the "woman overcomes her trauma" genre where it turns out she actually completely lost her shit early on in the movie and was the monster all along.

Just watched Sinners after being dragged to the theaters by friends. It is... okay? Good ideas, generic execution and wonky pacing. I have no idea how to explain it better. Pretty much another 'Racism bad: the movie' with some good setpieces and soundtrack.
I don't remember the last time I went to the movies.

The only horror movies I'm waiting for is Bring Her Back and that is like a whole month to go, and 28 Years Later. Havoc by Gareth Evans in a week will make my wait easier for the two.
 
Anyone watch Bloat?
It was like Unfriended meets Paranormal Activity, my problem is the way it was done, who was looking at all of it? Whose laptop was being viewed? Did they really have to show their locations, what they ordered and their search history? Who was even recording all of that? This was a weird one.

That movie hit different after I had kids. Not that I think my kids are the devil, but if you cut out the end where everyone is chanting "Hail Satan!" it's a really scary movie about the worries of pregnancy and child birth.

That's it for me. Even worse I had difficult pregnancies and it took the doctors a while to believe me.
 

David Cronenberg's next movie (he's 82, so possibly his last as well). I don't know, looks better than Crimes of the Future, but I thought that was shit, so it's a pretty low hurdle. This showed last year at Cannes, and this year at Toronto, but hasn't been really released yet. Critics seem pretty tepid, but that's fucking meaningless, so who knows. What I do know is I haven't seen anyone talking about it. Cassel kind of sucks when speaking English. Diane Kruger is much younger than I thought she was and is still amazingly hot. We'll see, I guess.
 
Watched Smile 1&2 earlier this week. Both are very good, but I'm worried that the 3rd one is going to be awful. I don't want to spoil anything, but the implication of the ending for Smile 2 is horrifying, and the audience should be left to stew on the consequences on what happened. But alas, the 3rd will make money regardless if the film is shit or not.
 
Who is your favorite puppet in Puppet Master? I like Pinhead the most. He's comical now but as a kid he gave me nightmares. There was a kiwi user named Cuckoman, I think, Who used the Tunneler as his profile picture, and Tunneler is number 2 for me. Also, can you guys recommend any of the Puppet Masters after the 2nd one? I've heard rumors they're pretty bad. Same with Hellraiser, anything worthwhile after Hellraiser II?
