All my mind seems to remember is that it basically happened in the same neighborhood as the Death Watch movie where Charles Bronson blows up a punk with a bazooka, the main character is some black cop, which my mind has convinced me is the same black cop from Lethal Weapon (and I don't want to google it and figure out I'm wrong because it's just funnier that way), and at some point there's a drug dealer who's got dreads going on, who may or may not have confused the predator because of it.

I kind of like that idea this is what the movie's about ngl. Not sure reality will top it off and I'd only be letdown by a rewatch.

I've told you before, I'm not Norman and you're not my mom, so stop dressing up like that! It doesn't even make sense, you shouldn't have turned off the movie 2/3rd of the way through

I will download Predator 2 tonight and watch it again though

Are we going off of Psycho 1 or Psycho 2 rules where Norman's mother is alive and he bashes her head in with a shovel?

Predator 2 was a legitimate good movie imo. Just a real product of it's time. If I had to rate, Predator > Predator 2 > Predators > AVP 1 unrated.
 
I like AvP Requiem more than the first AvP. Neither movie is good and are essentially medium budget fan films but Requiem has the gore and a couple of fan boy shots I liked. I also liked that the Predator was skinny like the rest of the movies. The lighting is horrible and the director's blamed the studio and vice versa for that fuck up.

I can't even remember Requiem except for the fact that I hated it. I have every movie in the franchise for archival purposes but I think that one I've watched the least. AvP 1 was just perfectly cheesy.

I... don't know that I saw this one either. I think people shat on it so hard, and I was letdown so bad by AvP, that I've avoided it all those years.

Fuck it I'm gonna watch it too.

I have heard that the Bates Motel TV show was actually good. It's been another thing on my to watch list.

I'm not talking about the TV show, which I haven't watched but same as you, heard good things, will watch eventually I guess

I'm talking about the 1987 movie Bates Motel which ignores everything that happened after Psycho and basically goes Halloween 3 and makes Bates Motel as something spooky and haunted and whatever.


It's actually not horrible. Very 80s and not much gore, but worth a watch if you've seen the others.. I just don't like the idea that it wipes away the entire timeline, but if you watch it on its own it can be entertaining I guess.

 
I've seen a little bit of the 87 Bates Motel pilot. Pretty bad.
 
Just watched The Bunker Game on Shudder, will be shocked if there is a worse horror movie this year. It's about a butch of Nazi LARPers in a bunker who game goes to shit with spooky stuff happening.

One of the nazi LARPers is a gender special and movie has a few rants about people calling her well her instead of they/them bullshit.

Really boring, so not sure if it makes no sense or I was so bored my brain skipped over all the parts that made it make sense but pretty sure it's the former.



note that music in the trailer is never used in the movie.
