Is 3 worth watching? I finished 4 and really liked it. Thank God the bloom was only bad in the first 20/30 minutes and whatever made it bearable after that. I liked it more than 2 and the commentary about people filming themselves - even though it's been said before me - was superb. And while I just watched it for the first time, I can understand the original critiques and the newfound love for it because of that.

I saw Scream 6. It’s not a bad movie, but it is my least favorite of the series. I liked that the killers are basically a Reddit family but they weren’t as entertaining otherwise. Ghost Billy is still dumb unless it’s build up for his daughter become a Ghostface of scream 7. The most glaring issue is that the film seems afraid of killing off recurring characters.

Aside from that I really liked the opening scene, and the deaths that happened were pretty good. The sets were also really neat. Other than that it was just aggressively okay.

Worse than 5? I've seen most people put it above 5, with most people saying the director's learned from the mistakes made in it. I really want to see 6 just for the opening alone - everyone's raved about it.

Honestly I don't really truly dislike any of the Scream movies. At worst it can just be mediocre in my opinion.

Scream 6 does that retarded thing where it talks about clichés but then falls right into them without a hint of irony. The STRONG FEMME LEAD and big strong negro surviving purely by virtue of plot armour was especially atrocious.

Semi related, but is Ghostface portrayed by a stuntman or is actually the killers' actor(s) under the mask?

Aside from reveals, stuntmen. It's only been worn two times by actors. First, when Billy (Ulrich) is behind Randy in 1. And second time, when Jack Quaid's character is behind Mindy on the couch.

For example 4, you might be able to argue stuntwoman, but Ghostface was never as short or small built like Emma Roberts in 4.

He is also voiced by Powerpuff Girls' Mojo Jojo himself Roger L. Jackson. I can't say whoever played him on camera, however.

Apparently, there's a new horror movie later this month called Malum coming out, and it's set to be a semi-reboot of a 2014 movie, The Last Shift.

Yeah it feels like it could easily be a Hillbilly Halloween movie. It's such an unoriginal soulless mess and if it was a campy movie, I would've been more forgiving of it.
Easily the worst film I saw in 2023, how can you make a movie that you know it's going to be bad, only for it to start off good, then turn to a shit movie for the rest of the runtime?

That Winnie The Pooh horror flick is out on VOD.
What all of these horror movie takes on characters that have entered the public domain come off like:

I honest to god thought it came out late last year, but upon research, you're right. It actually did came out this year.

Family Guy horror movie when? I mean, Peter Griffin is a more of a serial killer if anything.

Can confirm that Winnie the Pooh is as bad as everyone has said in this thread. Somehow, despite being only 84 minutes with about 7 of those being credits, every scene drags on for twice as long as it should.

There's also a ton of basic continuity errors, one of the most egregious is at the beginning where the voice-over says the animals became feral and stopped talking after Christopher Robin left them, then not five minutes later we get this:

Winnie the Pooh is also extremely unintimidating and spends the movie mincing around like a big fat gay guy. Even the gore sucks, being mostly terrible CGI blood pasted over bad makeup effects.

The movie follows a trend I've noticed recently where if the opening credits are in a common Microsoft Office font then the movie is going to be absolute dogshit. In the ultimate laziness, they used fucking Times New Roman here.

The ending is probably the biggest "fuck you" I've seen in some time - not only do they rip off one of the dumbest scenes of Halloween Kills but they have the balls to set up a sequel. The last shots of the movie are no shit just randomly of debris for some reason.

Highlight: The actor who plays Christopher Robin has a speech impediment where he pronounces his "R"s as "W"s which reminded me of Life of Brian.

Scariest Part: The realization about 20 minutes in that 80% of the cast was going to be British women.

Overall: I at least got a few laughs out of Jeepers Creepers: Reborn, this movie was just tedious and annoying. It's been recommended in this thread already, but if you want a good, modern slasher that is surprisingly brutal watch Haunt instead.
