In my school we had three levels, Silver honor which was a 3.0 or higher, Gold at 3.5 or higer and Platinum at 4.0 or higher. We also had Special honor Roll, which was given to all the Special Ed kids.

Rumor has it that Bob was muttering about the shame he still felt about Chris' graduation behavior as he drifted into eternal sleep.

All things considered, though, is there a more appropriate way to respond to such behavior from an adult child?

Chris feels that he had it made in Highschool because other teenagers were forced to be around him. There were girls who were unmarried and alot did not have serious boyfriends yet...so hence there were alot of boyfriend free girls for him to chose from. Once he graduated and once he finished college, there were no more people being forced to be around him and he became lonely. The only thing pretty much left for him to do was to get deeply involved on the internets...the rest is history.

I think Chris thinks he made honor roll. It was probably the Special Ed honor roll, but he considers it the same as the regular kids honor roll.

I would have loved to see the graduation. The people there were used to Chris, so they thought that their tard was just throwing another tantrum and probably just ignored it. Although, it would have been funny to see him throwing a fit for not getting a reward for coloring inside the lines.

Why is any of this hard to believe? You don't have to be a genius to get good grades or be on the honor roll.

Because Chris-Chan is an unmotivated autistic slug who clocks in so far below genius he couldn't see it with the Hubble.

You don't need to be smart to get good grades, but you have to at least half ass some effort. Chris never puts forth effort. A prime example showing he wasn't even trying [cwc=A_Week_With_Christian_Chandler]while in school[/cwc]

That's assuming Chris understands that people were around him because they were forced to be. He has made angry Facebook updates about how strangers walking by him in public don't talk to him. And before that, when he would send Facebook messages to strangers, they would ask him, "Do I know you?" and he found that response strange and confusing.

I think it would be hard for me to overstate how shallow Chris' understanding of human relations is.

I always loved that he took the question literal and would respond "I am not a mind reader."

It really is a good thing he did that online, because a response like that in real life would probably get him shot

In this call (long-ass and boring, I wont search the time when this is mentioned, sorry) Bob himself says that he did NOT make the Honor Roll...

Maybe his high-school had some kind of fake honor roll to make special needs students feel good, and Borb just never told him the truth...

About his tantrum...

11:16.

Listening to that, I think Bob is a nice old boy, sure he was a bit racist/misogynistic/homophobic here and there but I put that down to being a product of his time rather than actual malice. He really reminds me of my grandad with that story about how he personalised everything he made, my grandad often tells me about how he used to draw a little horse or make a notch on everything he ever made, switching it about when his co-workers caught on so he could deny shoddy work.

he mentions a star pin award for his grades, which totally sounds like a special ed award.

also, is that a pokemon tie he's wearing to his graduation?

The hell is he wearing a bumbag/ fanny pack to his graduation for?!
It's a colostomy bag, which unfortunately was lost at some point over the years.

I was just about to ask that. I've been waiting like five years to find out why the fuck he needed a fanny pack at a goddamn formal event. I assume it just has his pokemon cards or something, in case any of his classmates wanted to challenge him to a duel for the heart of the cards.
