I would have appreciated it more if it had an autofill map sort of like metroid... Like, I found a chair or the bell critter so I can save or fast travel there, but I have no clue where I'm at in this place(more than one place, and I forgot where Map-Lady can be found).

Also the birds are complete bullshit, the devs know it because the 4th wave in one of the gauntlets is just three standard birds.

I "accidentally" broke the newly built bridge in bonebottom in the middle of act 1 and now I'm wondering why it's still not back.
Did I mess up?

There's a mod for that, funnily enough.

If you have trouble finding her, there's a ring in the Bell-town you can hit to summon her with her latest wares.

The one next to the starting village? I too broke it and it didn't reappear. Probably a bug. Oh well, the pilgrims will enjoy the extra challenge.

I think the bridge is just meant to be a piece of shit since it's a town of dumb losers. It's better gone anyway once you have enough movement options to just pop back out that central shaft every time you visit Eva.

an autofill map
People complained about (and modded) it in the first game too so I guess they're firm on the system even though it kinda only existed there to make Deepnest more stressful. Actually they sorta doubled down, since in the first game you'd get your visited areas added as soon as you purchased a map; this time you only get the basic version until you find a bench.

I kinda like it though, it's a best of both worlds system of being able to get lost and having to keep a mental map of unfamiliar places in games that don't have one at all, while also being able to do the Metroid thing of exploring thoroughly and looking for suspicious empty areas once you've mostly mapped somewhere out. And it feels good to drop the compass for a power boost when you're confident.
I really respect these devs knowing when to tell players to eat shit.

I started playing Hollow Knight a few days ago and I am really enjoying it. I'm sad I didn't play it earlier but I am looking forward to playing Silksong too when I finish it.

Finally finished with 100%* completion and about 60 hours today. I started reading about the game now that I'm not worried about spoilers and... I really don't get why people freaked about the difficulty. I felt like I sucked at the game a lot, but seldom thought it was unfair. I've even seen proof that some of these people are more skilled at it than me yet act like the game is out to fuck you over.

I dunno. Maybe I've transcended "mad because bad" and reached "glad because bad."

Anyway, please look forward to this upcoming DLC boss fight!

Jesus fuck, my controller decided to spaz out and swap left and right inputs at random every few seconds... this happened at the start of the route to the Nameless Village.
I'm not sure what's crazier: the fact that you managed to succeed like that, or you for even trying it in the first place.

Everyone keeps saying how bad the game is but I still like it despite the difficulty, that's just one of those situations where not everyone will like everything.
This is definitely not so bad that you would want to hide it from game journalists, that might have simply been a big middle finger.

Anyway, please look forward to this upcoming DLC boss fight!
I would rather kill myself holy shit,

I don't get why people have trouble doing the pogo with her default downward attack. I've been massacring niggers relentlessly with the diagonal spike. With my boomer reflexes, I should be the one bitching about it, you'd think.

Whatever. As long as people are having fun. I guess not everybody was though.

I only struggled with it in the early game. By late game, I had gotten used to it and used Hunter almost exclusively. The upgrades for it from Eva really left it as the best crest imo.

There are many roads to achieving pure zen. We walk the path of being pissed off by video games.

Yeah, no you fucking needed to beat the dancers to get the clawline.
Anyway, the clockwork faggots have been put to pasture....

10/10, i can't recall any other game that allows me to kill gay robots.

Now... Now i go kill the fucking savage beast fly again.
