I just got this game from a buddy and I gotta say, I was surprised that it runs rather decently even with me havin just 8GB, while this game claims it needs 16.

The optimization is very weird on PC, my machine can usually run games like this on higher graphical settings just fine and this game has massive FPS crashes no matter the settings, especially in Hogsmeade

I wonder if the hogsmeade crashes will go down if you find as much of the shit as you can - rendering 24 flying pages and however many chests might overload it, especially as it has to "render" them even if they're not visible because Reveleo can see them.

Yeah, I've never had the Hogsmeade problem, but I cleared as many collectibles as I could the first visit. All of the shops seem to be loaded separately, so it's only a moderately complex overworld when you clear it out. Of course, other than yesterday for a hour I've had what sounds like an exceptionally smooth experience.
During that hour, I had the Dipulso room not load correctly, fell through the world and died outside the Great Hall, and mounted my broom while casting a spell which either folded the character model into an eldrich abomination or just moved the camera inside it. It was stuttering like crazy too, but a restart of the game fixed it.

I went to Slytherin bevause I made Ebony. However, I always wanted to go there. It's were the cool kids are.

Speaking of bugs, I've encountered a few. I once fell down the map opening a chest outside of the greenhouses, and while doing the Merman quest, one of the moths disappeared.

Someone already posted this earlier, but I just came across it in the game. Most likely a coincidence, but looks enough like slobbermutt that it could be an easter egg from a secret true and honest fan. :D

I know this guy from GTA V mods, so it's unsurprising he's paywalling this shit. That community has a fucking rage boner for making their shit paywalled, to the point where they even introduce disk wipers if you dare to pirate them, like the QuantV mod did. I wish for every modder who paywalls their shit to fucking starve, especially since they're so disingenuous about whether or not their mods are paid.

When your antipiracy measures are even worse than Sony of all companies, you really need to take some time to see where you fucked up.

The issue is, that it never gets to that point. We never see the sacrifice even being made. All it does is animate a few Inferi from corpse's inside the place already. It is a false moral because instead of going all the way with the premise it shits its pants and takes the safe route. The game then puts the pressure on you to condemn Sebastian over Uncle Mcvagueexcuse after he has spent several quests at this point, being an unreasonable asshole who wont explain why cures wont work. It pretends to be saying something about going to far down a dark path to save the one you love, something that really has been explored to death in fiction. But that is another argument. The issue i have is that it half asses it. If it got to the point of him activating the relic then having the player choice to choose to stop or say sacrifice the life of his Uncle. Then it would be a passing example of this type of story. It is moral blue balls.
I was fully on Sebastian's side during the whole ordeal, Solomon was a faggot. The hamfisted "moral choice" was stupid and was badly written IMHO.
But what disappointed me was there were no choices regarding the villains whatsoever. "They're ded now lol" is stupid, I preferred to do it on my own accord, especially I went out of my way to cast AK as a last hit on both final bosses.
I do not know what happens about the curse, since Rookwood's fucking dead. Is it going to be lifted or is Anne still fucked for the rest of her life?
Finished the main storyline, but I can't be arsed to complete the field guide because of the dogshit optimization of the PC port. Wow, the stuttering and FPS drops were horrendous. But nonetheless a really good game and a potential cash cow in the making. 7/10, 8/10 if they fix the PC port or if you play on consoles.
As side characters go:
Slytherin (Sebastian and Ominis, come on) > Hufflepuff = Gryffindor > Ravenclaw

So I was exploring the area around the Slytherin house and found some ghosts in some old banquet hall. Turns out 2 of them were faggots.

They hid the only gay "characters" in the fucking dungeon where the majority of players will never see them.

Because they'll always pick Griffindor

There are other faggots, the two lesbos who never go near each other keep demanding you know about her "wife" which is as hilarious an example of lesbian bed-death as you could ever want. (The witch who teaches you about merlin trials and the wandering vendor who sells nothing of interest.)

Do you ever get a chance to bust into the other dormitories? I found the entrances but I assume I can't get in, but I'll still be able to 100% the game?

From everything I’ve seen there isn’t a way to get in to any of the other ones. Ravenclaw has a rooftop access but reading online it seems like other houses students aren’t able to land there.

I found her one time randomly while wondering the halls at night.. I think she was crying or another ghost was, the subsites said "Gray Lady" but I can't remember what she said because I think I was in the middle of a sidequest.
There's some protagonist flavor dialogue about her. I'm not sure if it's IN the quest, in the area, or was just random, but in the Underground Harbor when doing assignments for Prof. Weasley for the transformation spell is where I saw her.
