What are the differences between the "inclusive" and "non-inclusive" versions, if I may ask?
Basically there are two different endings for male/female (think latino/latina, except it's a suffix, not a letter that changes) - so a male OR generic player is "Spieler" and a female one is "Spielerin". Up until now everyone understood that just "Spieler" means everyone, no matter the gender, but the newest thing is to either mention both versions (which is not as bad, but still impedes readability and clarity) or (this is the super inclusive option for nonbinaries and genderspecials) just add the suffix with a special character in the middle, they currently can't decide between asterisk or colon. Like this: "Spieler:in" or "Spieler*in".
It looks terrible and also doesn't work while speaking, so this only appears randomly in written text in the game, not in the dialogues. It hasn't been used consistently, so I assume there were some rogue, woke translators in the bunch and no editor to fix this.

The only way that it's a 'surprise' is that, initially, the companion this is relevant to believed a Goblin was the one who did it rather than the dark wizard. This information changes jack shit for your story experience.

And hey, it's one of three villains... Okay, the third hasn't been confirmed yet, but I'm 99% sure the woman messing with the dark arts in the plot flashbacks and occupies the same special position as the player is gonna be the main villain.

The dark wizard you see exactly after entering Hogwarts in cahoots with the goblin

Which makes it an even dumber spoiler in retrospect lmao

I gotta say, that shit looks dumb in any language.

The spoiler literally amounts to, no joke, 'The evil guy cursed someone'. Oh really? The main villain of the game is the guy who did something bad? Really?

Color me fucking surprised!

It's not on the level of 'Dumbledore dies' or 'Sephiroth kills Aerith'. It's: 'One of the ONLY two villains in the game did this thing'.

Even their attempts to ruin people's fun falls flat on it's mangled dick
I kinda guessed half the spoilers as soon as I started the game. The other half I guessed later on. So actually seeing them in several comments confirmed what I already thought. It's amazing the lengths these people will go to just to deny someone fun. It must be exhausting to be such a joyless faggot.

I got the game early but the stuttering got too much on PC so I waited for the day one patch. Now the game freezes before loading the shaders. So far, not terribly impressed.

That sucks. It works perfectly on consoles. I think the only issue I've had is some minor clipping with the clothing and I'm about 20 hours in

It isn't that hard, especially not for devs who have AAA resources to record two variants of the same line and have the game check if body type A or B was selected. It is very clearly done to not offend some sort of Xim Zer tranny faggot, the fact that it saved a miniscule amount of money is a bonus at best.
It's not hard, it's just something you want to minimise. Go look at old games with a gender option before the trannypocalypse even happened and count how many times they use pronouns instead of just calling you Nerevar or whatever.

It's not like variant lines are undesirable, you want them for flavour sometimes. But say you have a quest with three possible outcomes, add a pronoun and now that's 6 line variations you have to record instead of 3. Add an alignment system to how characters address you and now that's 18 line variations instead of 9.
No matter how big your budget is you can only have voice actors in the booth for so many hours a day (which is already potentially hundreds of studio hours for a main voice), so you pick and choose. Ditching gender is usually first on the chopping block because who would honestly give a shit if it wasn't a charged topic anyway.

Y'know when I was a kid they still taught that "he" can be genderless in English, so welcome to the dead education system club and its consequences, lol

I love how in every single one of these cope, and seethe posts you can just tell these fuckers really wanna play this game.

Harry Potter was their entire lives, and now a game comes out for it that's not only good, it's everything they've ever fucking wanted, and yet they can't play it because of their own retardation, so they keep trying to tell people to play these other totally cool, and fun games so they can miserable, and miss out on it just like them.

It might be petty, but I really do hope this becomes one of the bestselling games of all time just so everyone can enjoy what is to these people their childhood dream come true while they stew in misery, and rage because of muh transphobia, and antisemitism.
They weren't able to cancel Rowling and so far it doesn't seem like they can cancel this game either.

I decided to go ahead and buy wizard game once I realized every copy sold is basically like casting crucio on a tranny

Finally picked up my copy and had a mess about for an hour or so. Combat is fun, but the fact there's different spells for the face buttons depending on if you're holding down R2 or not tripped me up at first. I kept casting lumos by accident when what I really wanted the shield. Once I got over that I was parrying with ease.

so this shit has woke shit and trannies still hate it?? lmao

Unless you can get your hit points back by paying a whore, then run her over with your Camaro to get the money back, I'm really not interested.

Side question why troons are complaining about this game again? Three broomsticks is owned by one. Just listen to her voice and tell me with a hand on your heart that isn't the case.

Alright, obligatory.

I'm curious enough to buy it, but I don't want to deal with the backlash. Some people I know IRL have my steam and hate rowling.

Where can I buy it?
set your profile to private so your purchase doesn't show up in their feed. or buy a key from a reseller, those don't get a feed message afaik.
they can still see it in your friendslist and profile history, so you'd need to go offline every time and keep your profile private.

or as others have said grow some balls and tells those dipshits it's just a fucking videogame.

AAA doesn't mean they aren't penny pinchers, even when it has gender support because other languages require it (spanish/french/german etc.)
and even if the reason was to be more "inclusive", I take that over some pronoun-faggotry.

I gotta say, that shit looks dumb in any language.
it's even worse, all that retarded effort is not inclusive enough. see that's the masculine and feminine form, it doesn't cover anything inbetween or outside those two designations, which means it obviously discriminating those. to cover all your bases you need to go full dice sweden and try to shove an X where it doesn't belong:
