turn off camera-relative aiming on Hard too because the lock/switch is not Souls-tier (basically unusable) and you'll infuriatingly whiff everything without it in close-quarters gank shit like the 4-on-1 duels

also don't buy table blueprints until you can use them (you'll know when unambiguously), because the game implies you'll get that way earlier than you do. Before then you're meant to be buying the odd potion/mats as you need em.

Damn, and that's just the PC version too. More reviews are coming in now that the thing's out properly. It may drop down from Mighty to Strong, but that still puts it in the 85th+ percentile of games on OpenCritic.

Question for those of you who've put a lot of time into the game (10+ hours):
How is it holding up? Is there enough variety in things to do where it doesn't feel like busywork? Is the combat still engaging as you're upgrading spells, unlocking new options etc.?

I'm loving the game so far, though I wish you had more interactions with the NPCs and their sidequests. Ominis and Sebastian really do carry most of the emotional weight of what's going on. Gameplay is excellent, just needs a bit more polish on plot/characters. 6.5-7/10 so far.
 
Hey @Null and jannies, there was a ps5 exclusive content unlocker mod on Nexusmods but it got yeeted by the jannies there, though it's available elsewhere. Would it be ok to post it here/link to it or would that bring too much heat to the site from Sony/WB Games?

just link to the steam guide or the website it came from directly, should be save enough (in most countries at least).
 
So can the xbox X handle the game with raytracing on? I am a complete inbicel at these things but I didn’t really notice much of a difference
