I am extremely enjoying Josh's playthrough of the game, not only because of the jokes but it's a man who is, legitamately, having fun with a game despite not knowing a whole lot about the property.

Nothing. In an open conflict the wizards would be absolutely fucked, despite their magic. Its why even Voldemort had to stick to the shadows - half a dozen wizards could wreak havoc, but only with the element of surprise on their side. Strip that away muggles will be all too quick with yanking the monster from under their bed.

Oh yeah, when the very act of killing with magic is one of the three unforgivable curses (as opposed to all the OTHER ways you can kill with magic like what Mrs. Weasely does to Lestrange), there isn't a whole lot wizards would be able to do against anything within the past 50 years of 'muggle' military tech.

There's an old statement that says 'the more in depth and complex a magic system is, the funnier it is when you introduce a gun to it.'

As much fun as it has been watching the psychotic breakdowns on Twitter, I'm not buying the game to "own the troons" or whatever. I'm really sick of this whole marketing gimmick that generates a bunch of sales for reasons completely unrelated to the quality of the game. I got fooled with that game Heartbeat, and I didn't buy Kingdom Come: Deliverance. I have no interest in picking up this AAA open world RPG published by Warner Brothers for a series that, in my mind, peaked at the second book. I don't like political pandering when the left does it (by printing rainbows on everything) and I don't like it when the right does it either. I wish games could just be good on their own merits.
Me personally I won’t be buying Hogwarts Legacy because my mom taught me that Harry Potter was demonic because of the witchcraft.

> "It's covered in cu--"
> Stream dies.

Those transphobes at YouTube HQ strike again.

Iirc, Rowling's exact example was a farmer with a shotgun vs ol' Mouldy Voldy. If the farmer knew what he was dealing with, both barrels at once would have rendered the entire book series a lot shorter.

@Null You do indeed get top hats but I think you unlock it a Lil later

I don't have the game but in case some of you fine negros want to skip the bullshit and get a bunch of coins early game there are already YouTube vids on a loop glitch where you can get tons of money just for sneaking up on boxes.

Be sure to spend your coins on anti tranny spells, sorry for the obnoxious voice of the dude who made the vid he was actually one of the easier to understand autists who've covered it so far.

The game has over a million concurrent viewers on Twitch right now:

No doubt we'd come up with technological counters to "magic" and actually do them better, which explains why their entire world is so shit scared of pissing off the muggles.

There were enough players on the game that it caused connection problems with other WB games that require a connection to the server, so it’s definitely popular.
