School scenes: formerly Main North High School, today it is the Illinois State Police Station, 9511 Harrison St., Des Plaines, IL.

The library was built inside the school’s gym. (All of the actors were given a piece of the banister on their last day of work)

It was really funny because I was just talking about the historical works of Louis wain in Q&A today . He was famous for making cats cute and loveable pets when at the time people only really thought of them as natural mouse traps.

This is Churchills' birthday, but the picture is from Tehran conference from 1943, not Yalta

Mugshot of Pep the dog who was "booked" into the Eastern State Penitentiary in 1924.
Along with the mugshot Pep's pawprints we're also taken, he was given an the inmate number C-2559, and was logged into the prison ledger as having received a life sentence for killing a cat.
In reality Pep's former owner was Gifford Pinchot who was the governor of Pennsylvania at the time. The governor freely gave the dog to the prison to boost inmate morale.

Norway's King Harald V quoted as saying "in every way qualified to receive the honour and dignity of knighthood" -

The tradition of Nils Olav has existed since 1972, currently at Sir Nils Olav III.
