Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman was on cable television Friday night peddling conspiracy theories about extraterrestrial life forms, and nobody seems to have noticed.

In fairness, I didn’t really believe it until I saw it either. But there he was, John Podesta, speaking gravely over a foreboding soundtrack, lending his very earnest insights to “Ancient Aliens” on The History Channel. ( Don’t tell Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa ).

Podesta has long been in avid pursuit of the truth about UFOs, memorably reassuring the public during Clinton’s 2016 campaign he’d “convinced her that we need an effort to kind of go look at that and declassify as much as we can, so that people have their legitimate questions answered.”

And so it came to be, this former White House chief of staff and counselor to the president sat before “Ancient Aliens” cameras and unloaded enigmatic observations like, “The government seems to be completely unaccountable to the American public,” and “I've had a number of members of Congress, members of the U.S. Senate say to me, ‘Keep going at this. I'm really interested in it, but I can't say anything about it.’"

Behold this surreal exchange, wherein Podesta very seriously reflects on the Clinton campaign’s pro-alien declassification platform.

NARRATOR: Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, is well-known for his interest in UFO and extraterrestrial encounters, and according to him, so is she.

PODESTA: Secretary Clinton, likewise, was also kind of interested in the topic, and during the course of the campaign said that, if elected, she would have ordered a more thorough declassification review …

NARRATOR: Many believe that had Clinton won, there would have been a seismic shift from the government's long-held policy of secrecy concerning UFO investigations to a new policy of full disclosure.

PODESTA: The system of regulation that creates our secrecy system — what's top secret, what's confidential, these lower levels of classification — that's regulated and has been since the Truman administration by executive order of the president. The president sets forward the general rules of classification, and some presidents have been more forthcoming, wanted less secrecy, some have tightened the reins and wanted more secrecy. It makes a difference.

That provided an opening for another of the episode’s commentators to claim, “The CIA and the Pentagon, they were worried about Hillary Clinton, Secretary Clinton, all the statements she was making, winning the presidency, and going to the Pentagon and basically saying, ‘You are going to give me the information I need to disclose the extraterrestrial presence or I’m gonna fire every single one of you.’”

Which, in turn, set up another expert nicely to insist with dramatic flair: “John Podesta was trying to get ready to open up that we're not alone in the universe. All of that crashed when a different person became president of the United States.”

“November 8, 2016: Donald Trump was elected as America's next president,” the History Channel’s narrator intones. “There would be no disclosure of the secret UFO files.”

So, was Trump’s election really secured by scheming puppetmasters in Russia? Or were those strings perhaps pulled from a little further out of this world by aliens hoping to shield their species from exposure to our planet at this strange moment in time?

This asinine crap reminds of what happened when Abe Lincoln triumphed over Stephen Douglass in 1860.
You're forgetting the part where in the Senate race Lincoln made him take a stand on the slavery issue because he knew while being pro-abolition would sink the Senate race, it would be a massive issue in the presidential election they both knew were coming. People forget that Lincoln was every bit a political animal.

Clinton embodies the things I hate most:

1. people being entitled to stuff based on their demographic

2. Corruption

3. Political correctness

4. Celebrity pandering bullshit

5. The worst of American intervention (ala Senpai Henry Kissinger)

6. Pearl clutching moral busy bodies

I think most Americans agree with me on this stuff but I dunno.

How savage of a beat down would she get from other Dems in the primaries if she runs again?

She's still grooming her daughter for politics. We'll probably see Chelsea rising through the ranks with every advantage conceivable thanks to her parents influence.

She's angling for 2020 alright.

She is. Nobody is fooled that she is anything but a cutthroat old cunt who will say anything to get elected.

The problem is that optics have gotten worse. Democrats are losing the millenials, labor and now Kanye puts the black vote in danger by speaking his mind. If the midterms are a disaster for them they literally cannot afford a Hilary candidate. It's more of the same.

If it sticks, Trump will have significant foreign policy cred with ending the Korean War. If the economy works, he can claim his tax plan. What's worse, the country hasn't imploded under his leadership. That's a huge problem since that's what they predicted. Nobody gives a fuck about Stormy Daniels and who Trump fucks.

All Hilary Clinton has done since the election is whine. She has done nothing to improve her image.

EVen with mommy's purse strings, how far is that kid going to go when she's spent the last who-knows-how-many years hearing about how it's the family's right to govern, and the last 2 hearing the never ending whining about being cheated of their destiny by a traitorous voting public?

@Secret Asshole It's been two years, how long does it take to set up one, lousy, death camp? All you need is a hole and some rifles, minimum!

along with the rest of the emails
CIDF forces seem to respond to accusations that using a private email server as head of secretary of state being against several laws as it handled classified documents and no accountability to FOIA or any kind of legal documentation of the emails sent and received by mockingly shouting "but her emails"

The same thing with Benghazi, it's a right-wing talking point that means nothing and has no substance because once Trump mentioned it out loud and we all know he's ridiculous. There are to be no criticisms over the handling of the Benghazi attack and the misleading press release given where the white house accuses some independent filmmaker of inspiring an attack by making a film that mocks Islam when in fact it had been a planned terror operation to coincide on the anniversary of the September 11th attacks in 2001.

It's like the one tranny comic """artist""" who does the Freeze Peach comics.

Hillary Clinton claimed Wednesday that declaring herself to be a “capitalist” during the 2016 presidential primaries may have hurt her with Democratic voters.

“Probably,” she said when asked by Time Inc. Brands CCO Alan Murray if the declaration hurt her. The pair appeared in conversation as part of the Shared Value Leadership Summit in New York City.

“It’s hard to know but I mean if you’re in the Iowa caucuses and 41 percent of Democrats are socialists or self-described socialists, and I’m asked ‘Are you a capitalist?’ and I say, ‘Yes, but with appropriate regulation and appropriate accountability.’ You know, that probably gets lost in the ‘Oh my gosh, she’s a capitalist!’” Clinton concluded, partly referring to the popularity of her primary rival, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), who ran as a self-declared democratic socialist.

The Republican National Committee research team quickly seized upon the remarks, clipping it and posting it to their social-media channels

So she's claiming to be a capitalist now? When she tried to be the second coming of Eva Peron during the campaign?
She said she's a capitalist during the primary debates. She is a millionaire and enjoys it so it's accurate, she doesn't want her wealth distributed to anyone or for the means of production to be worker owned.

Very true, but off the clock, neither man held any real malice for each other.

The difference here is that Clinton draws no distinction between the politics and the person representing them, while Douglass and Lincoln respected each other as people despite their political differences.

How long until Hilary starts blaming the subtle influences of the Great Old One Nyalarthotep, or time travelling trolls for her defeat?

We can't let people know this truth!

What was with that weird hole/dent thing on the middle of her tongue anyway?

What was with that weird hole/dent thing on the middle of her tongue anyway?
Or all of the weird head-bobbing she kept doing, or that one Secret Service member who had to run up on the stage to get her to keep talking when she just froze mid-speech, or why she was hurled into a van and came out of the building awhile later looking completely disheveled, or that weird-ass face she made during the balloon display, or how people always had to drag her up staircases or hold her up during speeches. There were just so many weird, little things that kept happening, and she never addressed any of them other than by dismissively waving her hand.

I just have so many residual questions that are still completely unanswered concerning her behaviour during the 2016 campaign. It's sort of a moot point now, and I don't really think it's a question of whether or not she was healthy enough to run in the first place considering that she's spent most of her time post-election stumbling down any staircase she can manage to find like some kind of alcoholic, human Slinky, but goddammit Hillary why did you host practically no press conferences at all and why did you act so fucking weird on the campaign trail? What the Hell was that all about?

I know right? Where are those right wing death squads we were promised that put all the SJWs in camps?

In all seriousness, I think that the age of dynasties in politics is coming to an end. Jeb was basically anally raped in the primaries, Clinton basically destroyed a natural movement and was punished with an electoral embarrassment. All Chelsea Clinton has is the influence her parents gave her. She is a spoiled little cunt and I would vote for any reality TV star over her.

Most tinfoilers compared it to the same hole reptiles have on their tongues for some biological reason. I didn't read the rest of it, because it was fucking retarded.

Tongue ulcer from stress or medication possibly, or if you wanna go complete rabbit hole:

Kreutzfeldt–Jakob disease (CJD) is a universally fatal brain disorder.[2] Early symptoms include memory problems, behavioral changes, poor coordination, and visual disturbances.[2] Later dementia, involuntary movements, blindness, weakness, and coma occur.[2] About 90% of people die within a year of diagnosis.[2]

CJD is believed to be caused by a protein known as a prion.[2] Infectious prions are misfolded proteins that can cause normally folded proteins to become misfolded.[2] Most cases occur spontaneously, while about 7.5% of cases are inherited from a person's parents in an autosomal dominant manner.[2] Exposure to brain or spinal tissue from an infected person may also result in spread.[2] There is no evidence that it can spread between people via normal contact or blood transfusions.[2] Diagnosis involves ruling out other potential causes.[2] An electroencephalogram, spinal tap, or magnetic resonance imaging may support the diagnosis.[2]

There is no specific treatment.[2] Opioids may be used to help with pain, while clonazepam or sodium valproate may help with involuntary movements.[2] CJD affects about one per million people per year.[2] Onset is typically around 60 years of age.[2] The condition was first described in 1920.[2] It is classified as a type of transmissible spongiform encephalopathy.[3] CJD is different from bovine spongiform encephalopathy (mad cow disease) and variant Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (vCJD).[4]

The first symptom of CJD is usually rapidly progressive dementia, leading to memory loss, personality changes, and hallucinations. Myoclonus (jerky movements) typically occurs in 90% of cases, but may be absent at initial onset.[5] Other frequently occurring features include anxiety, depression, paranoia, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, and psychosis.[6] This is accompanied by physical problems such as speech impairment, balance and coordination dysfunction (ataxia), changes in gait, rigid posture, and seizures. In most people with CJD, these symptoms are accompanied by involuntary movements and the appearance of an atypical, diagnostic electroencephalogram tracing. The duration of the disease varies greatly, but sporadic (non-inherited) CJD can be fatal within months or even weeks.[7]Most victims die six months after initial symptoms appear, often of pneumonia due to impaired coughing reflexes. About 15% of people with CJD survive for two or more years.[8]

Rumors are from what I hear in the usual places I check out, is that Hillary suffered a massive stroke, which is why she left Obama's administration early. She then went through brain surgery to minimize tremors, and then rehabilitation to regain normal movement.

The whole thing was kept hush hush, because she didn't want the medical news getting out because it would hurt her chances.

That brace she drops before being loaded into the van, is a common thing stroke patients wear to minimize tremors.
