she’s considering another presidential run, telling a New York City audience on Friday that she would be well suited to the office.

During a far-ranging interview with Kara Swisher of the technology website Recode(Ms. Swisher is also a contributor to The Times’s Opinion section), Mrs. Clinton initially said “no” when asked whether she wanted to run for president again. She then paused and repeated “no.”

But after Ms. Swisher noted the slight hesitation, Mrs. Clinton seemed to reconsider her response, saying that a major task of the next Democratic president will be improving the international standing of the United States.

“Well, I’d like to be president,” she said, during the public taping at the 92nd Street Y of Ms. Swisher’s podcast. "The work would be work that I feel very well prepared for having been at the Senate for eight years, having been a diplomat in the State Department, and it’s just going to be a lot of heavy lifting.”

Mrs. Clinton has become a more visible presence in recent weeks, increasing the number of her public appearances and raising money for Democrats across the country. Last week, she spoke at a fund-raiser for Donna Shalala, a former Clinton administration official, who is running for a House seat in Florida.

“She will always be a winner and I’ll always be with her,” said Ms. Shalala, introducing Mrs. Clinton to a room full of 200 Democratic donors in Miami.

Mrs. Clinton said she wouldn’t consider a possible run in 2020 until after the midterm elections next week.

“I’m not even going to even think about it until we get through this Nov. 6 election,” she said. “But I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure we have a Democrat in the White House come January of 2021.”

Should she mount a third presidential bid, Mrs. Clinton would be entering a Democratic field crowded with potential contenders, a major shift from 2016, when nearly no Democrats were eager to challenge her.

Mrs. Clinton said she expects a crowded field of as many as 20 Democrats.

“I think we’d have a number of excellent candidates who would be really formidable on the campaign trail, but let’s wait and see who it is,” she said. "I’m just going to wait and watch what happens.”

Mrs. Clinton dismissed some of the calls for her to retreat from public life as sexist.

“There were no articles telling Al Gore to go away or John Kerry to go away or John McCain or Mitt Romney to go away,” she said. “Mitt Romney is going to the Senate, that’s where he’s going.”

She is gonna keep trying for power, again, and again, and again, until that black heart of hers finally gives in, and even then she'll drag the DNC into the grave with her....

And I for one cannot wait!

Pokémon Go Fuck Yourself Hillary.

I'd love to see her run again though. The laughs I'll be having would be enough to increase my lifespan by about 3 years.

Oh goodie, another possible rainbow round of fugly pants suits.

If Hills runs again and loses to Trump, will the salt involve people actually leaving the US as they previously threatened and/or mass suicides? I can't imagine the PTSD those people have is going to help them recover well.

Either way, the real winners will be us.

Yeah, but there's something about liberal salt.....

That said, I saw a picture of Hillary just recently, she is looking BAD. All that talk of her health was not a joke. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if she hoped to die while campaigning, just so people could say "she was destined to be the first female president until death stopped her."

God almighty, she's like the Thing That Would Not Die. Retire, woman. Dump Bill and spend all that hard-grifted cash on a poolboy or two. Stop making us look bad in front of the other gender.

A Hillary 2020 campaign is a guaranteed second term for Trump. I think even the DNC knows that and will try to discourage her. I also don't think she would win a primary where the DNC didn't openly cheat on her favor.

It's like she crawled into a bottle the night her mind finally completely broke when DRUAAAAUMPH mopped the floor with her, and hasn't crawled out since.

Yeah, they went away on their own. No one had to tell them to go away.
I'm not sure if she truly lacks self-awareness due to having nothing but ass kissers around her, or if this is some master trolling by her. Al Gore was mocked as a sore loser for a good while after he got his ass handed to him by Bush. Hell I remember playing CounterStrike and people having "Al Gore Is a Whiner" as their gamertag.

John Kerry was so low energy it's amazing anyone thought he'd win against Bush.

What? No. Please no, please don't ever try to run for president again.

I say let her run until she's out of breath. The only people she could have beat are Trump and Kasich, and the dems have absolutely nobody to run at this point, so she would make a great political punching bag

Holy shit, I've never seen such a sore loser in my entire life, and I've had my share of butthurt politicians.

And dammit, Hillary, just because you're the "most qualified" doesn't mean you'll do a good job. I've had a college professor who was an absolute genius but who was a terrible teacher for the simple and good reason he'd go rambling about shit that had nothing to do with the actual class all the fucking time. You may be the most qualified to be a president, but that just means in your case you'll be pretty good at hiding you're a goddamn sociopath. And that's why people didn't vote for you. Not because you're a woman, but because you're Hillary Clinton.

It reminds me of her book explaining why she lost. I especially loved the cover.

At the top of the page, was the question: "what happened."

At the bottom was the answer: "Hillary Clinton."

I recall Joe Biden talking about her once. He said that she's just as qualified as him, if not more than him, to be Vice President. And isn't that the truth?

A plank of wood with a face drawn on it is qualified to be VP.

You know guys, Hillary is a true patriot. Now, you might doubt that, but consider her actions and the events they have kicked off over the past 3 or 4 years.

1. Got the DNC, the party pushing toxic identity politics, to give her ALL THEIR MONEY
2. Ran a campaign so bad, she lost to Donald Trump. In hindsight it might look easy, but that was no mean feat at the time. While doing so, she spent ALL THE DEMOCRAT'S MONEY
3. Rigged the primary so Bernie Sanders, a real life socialist, couldn't win. Had he won, he might have defeated trump, and plunged our country into socialist hell.
4. Exposed several layers of corruption within the FBI by blatantly breaking the law and publicly getting away with it.
5. Showed that the DNC was willing to wiretap its political opponents.
6. Backed and spurred on the insane behavior of the worst of the DNC (My avatar says hi)
7. In doing the above, got democrats to go fully insane during the kavenaugh hearings, punching a huge hole in MeToo, before it could do too much damage with unsubstantiated accusations and rumors.
8. In doing the above, ensured that the supreme court will have a very dim view of identity politics, which are currently poisoning the nation.

Now, with very little effort or work on her part she can make sure this all stays true for another 4 years, while at the same time again draining the democrat's money.

This woman may have singlehandedly turned the US around from it's suicidal headlong rush into the woodchipper that is identity politics, into embracing the US as a legitimate force for good in the world. We thought Bush had killed patriotism, but hillary showed that people just needed to see the disgusting alternative to go back to it.
