When I was a kid, our parents used to tell us any job is a good job. It's not a cope, rather a way to say that people most of the times start low and you can climb up and even executives can start cleaning toilets. To be fair, it's a good advise.
Today, we tell kids they all are talented and they all deserve to have their dreams come true. This kid is just s victim of that mentality. She has some talent and she was told she was meant to become the next Walt Disney. Reality is that 1. she's not that talented and 2. people in the business with more experience and malice ate her alive because she's naive.
She should have started working low and in small projects or perhaps just work in a different trade and use this as a hobby.
