As noble as the attempt for a small job is (which is saying a lot for animation industry cogs), that has got to sting for Raye's ego. A job like that should've been the first one to work up to something like showrunner but Raye's lucky ass catapulted to the top spot. When I was a kid, our parents used to tell us any job is a good job. It's not a cope, rather a way to say that people most of the times start low and you can climb up and even executives can start cleaning toilets. To be fair, it's a good advise.

Today, we tell kids they all are talented and they all deserve to have their dreams come true. This kid is just s victim of that mentality. She has some talent and she was told she was meant to become the next Walt Disney. Reality is that 1. she's not that talented and 2. people in the business with more experience and malice ate her alive because she's naive.

She should have started working low and in small projects or perhaps just work in a different trade and use this as a hobby.

HGS' failure wasn't in all the woke shit (mind you, it didn't HELP, but hey, they would have been saying the exact same shit about Owl House in a different universe), it was that a green and naive director tried to turn his OC webcomic into an anime style cartoon without any industry experience or connections, and promptly got chewed up and spat out by the first studio willing to greenlight it, to nobody's surprise. If he started small and worked his way up while refining the concept, I don't know how differently things would have gone, but at least it probably wouldn't have sat on Crunchyroll's shelves for years before eventually being released to try and get some pity views.

Owl House was popular with porn artists and no one else. It didn’t ever get higher ratings than the other cartoons on Disney at the time and was canceled prematurely. Season 3 was a rush job they had to finish post-cancelation.
Owl House also had a ton of delays and rewrites early in production because of all the retardation, there’s a reason Glitch was able to afford Dana for their crappy new show, Dana is a nobody who was given a Disney show solely because she was fucking Alex Hirsch
