None of the important characters will turn out to be trans. I know this because otherwise it’d be bragged about in the trailer already.

It doesn't matter, the writers will just queer/trans bait the audience for attention so all the gays will make gay fanart on social media, thus creating more potential viewers for their gay gay gay show

This is going to piss off more weebs than they want to admit. It's a slap in the face to paying customers to funnel their cash into unrelated garbage nobody came to their service for. It reminds me of how the owner of TokyoPop tried to make a Courtney Love American anime right before the company went bankrupt.

Oh for sure, it's one thing that they've started adding shitty podcasts but directly partnering with some steven universe tier shit instead of trying to get more of the anime they're missing will definitley turn a lot of weebs off.

White knights, shills, and press statements are saying this is something that will appeal to fans of LWA.

You know, that cartoon that with the bouncy, energetic artstyle, fun, creative designs, and an actual moving plot with stakes and a narrative throughline. Because I'm totally reminded of that show when I see an upcoming slice-of-nothing-happens show drawn in typecast tumblr style, which makes all of the characters look like aborted moeblobs.
Why does it have to be sjw shit and not something inspired by Ghibli who created many strong female characters without a political agenda.
The sjw mindset is "if I didn't do it, then it doesn't count".

I'd be scared if most reactions were positive
Noticed a few on "Cartoon Brew" that are so far, but then I guess they don't like to get too many negatives there.

I'm sure we've waited damn too long for that.

At least the faggots behind Thundercats Roar had an interest in explaining the shit they are doing and talked about the show. In the trailer of this crap, you can see ego and the smugness through the fucking screen. This is shit is Steven Universe but on steroids. Well, more like on estrogen

I saw someone on FB saying how the usual angry men hate this because women made it already.... No it's cause weebs don't like fucking Cal Arts looking shit.

She looks like one of the chicks from the video almost.

Would they be less angry if it was just an audio drama perhaps? At least they don’t have to look at it.

NO. UH-UH. Forget it! No more of this Steven Universe Post-cursor CRAP.

I fucking hate weebs in general and I wholeheartedly agree with them that this has no right to exist.

Shokew, out.

It will never be as good as Neo Yokio

Neo Yokio? What is that?? Does it taste good??? Doesn't sound all that savory or filling, honestly.

What is with the rise of the cal-art animation style anyways? It's not as if it's the only cheap and lazy animation style and it's by no means suitable for audiences aged 12+. I suspect that it's because of market forces encouraging studios to copy the commercial success of SU instead of trying something new. You see something similar in Japan where once one show becomes a hit you'll see a bunch of copy cats trying to ride its coattails (e.g. digimon and pretty much every fighter show after DB). However, the thing is that Japan copies the concept moreso than the art style whereas the US prefers to copy the art style.

Or maybe it's just because western 2d animation studios have become an incestuous mass of cal art graduates who can't contemplate other art styles. Yeah, it's probably just incompetent people pushing an uninteresting and bland art style.

Like Hanna Barbera?

I'm sure the comments and ratings were disabled due to MUH HARASSMENT, but if they'd released a simple trailer, a trailer like any other or even just a teaser, people would think "that looks shit lol" and move on with their lives. Making the into video an introduction to how diverse the creators are invites - no, warrants - a mauling.
