Shitty. My wife changed detergents and I had an allergic reaction to it. I have a huge splotchy red mark across my chest and shoulders and my left shoulder even blistered a little. And I itch.

And the Benadryl hasn't kicked in yet. And my tablet ran outta juice right when I was reading something funny. And my youngest daughter knocked over a glass of water and drenched my phone. I'm having a day full of minor inconveniences. It's like the time Chris ran into a damn dirty smoker.

I sliced a good chunk of fingernail off by accident with a potato peeler and cut the skin underneath. And then I accidentally did it again with a different finger. Luckily, I didn't cut myself that time. The point is, I'm losing my touch at peeling potatoes.

Oooof, I know that feeling. One time I was getting out of the car and somehow managed to stub my thumb against the steering wheel so hard, my fingernail bent back and started bleeding like holy fuck. I still cringe just thinking about it.

Bleh. I've hit that time of night where depression hits hardest.

Not a real problem, I guess, but still.
Oooof, I know that feeling. Was going through the same thing last night. Maybe I should have stayed up last night. We could have vented with each other.

So today I met the mayor of my city. we had to film a speech we made on our high school.
It was pretty cool.

I just got a job offer from an agency that books me--to be a booker. It turns out I had a couple fans in the office who referred me for an opening.

Thanks!
Depression suckssss. Couple that with anxiety late at night and it's just fun fun fun all over.

So I took Benadryl last night. I had a bizarre dream in which my wife wanted to watch a movie on Netflix, with the odd request that it be about "Tae-Kwon-Do dogs." I managed to find a movie with such a description, but when we started the movie, it was a lot different. It was about that kid from "A Christmas Story," and his Dad took his family to Japan on a business trip--the day before December 7th, 1941. So after Pearl Harbor got attacked, the Japanese secret police dressed like druids and attacked the family and tried to arrest them. The kid, in desperation, cried out for help, and managed to contact the spirit of a slain Viking beserker--who looked like Chris Farley in a fursuit.

No more Benadryl. Ever.

....The hell.
Damn, Benadryl.

My teacher for one of my classes keeps telling me she expects me to do better since she believes I'm one of the more advanced students (I say otherwise) but today she was really on my case since we were freehand drawing geometrical shapes and she wasn't happy with how I drew them. My lines weren't straight enough, circles not perfect, shading and etc. She was also nagging on this girl sitting next to me, who kept whispering that she might drop the class because the teacher kept telling her that her work wasn't good enough and whatnot. It was pretty crazy, but afterwards the girl started crying after class so I decided to chat with her and bought her a coffee to cheer her up. I'm happy to have made someone feel better.

I only had one class to attend today so I'm glad that the meeting dates for another class turned out to be an error. Still checking to see if there is available space for a class I'm waitlisted in. So far, it's been a good day.

I've been completely fucking exhausted. Started my new job 2 weeks back and its a lot more physical than the last one. We've also been having a heat wave 38 degrees plus (celcius) which hasn't really helped. I also no longer have daytime internet which is why I haven't been sperging here so much.
Still, It's a hell of a lot less dull than my last job so I think I'll be happier once it cools down.

I like my new temp job. Sadly, its just a temp job. The people I work with are intelligent, I have good conversations with them. Better than sitting on fb like I have been doing these past 2 days because of the snow/bad roads preventing me from going to work. I get so sick of seeing babies.

Managed to get all the books I need for my classes save for one book that the college bookstore doesn't seem to have yet. Tomorrow I'm going to try and crash for a course in Theater Arts 100 while removing myself from the waitlist of an online class for Business 120. Hopefully the Theater Arts class isn't full by the time I try to register for it.

Cool as that is who took that picture? Michael J. Fox?

I apologize for the complaint, but... Having a bit of a problem with my forearm at the moment. I think some nerves were damaged a few years ago, so whenever I would turn it there'd be a tingling feeling. Now I'm getting a sharp pain even if I don't twist it, so I'm thinking I may need to see a doctor.

^ if you do writing by hand you should get a fountain pen. I rec the Pilot Metropolitan ($15-18)

in several hours I'll be leaving to spend 3 days in Las Vegas (which I'll probably keep slipping up and calling New Vegas and look like a dumbass with no life) and I'm glad that I seem to be in drawing shape so I can draw things that don't look like they're melting and imploding!

But I haven't been scanning and uploading much of anything, and I still don't draw a fraction as much as I should.

Well, I went to see grandpa and well... to put it bluntly... he isn't going to last for more than a few days it seems. I hate to see him go, but at the same time its inevitable.

Sorry for being such a downer...

Don't worry about being a downer. It's okay. I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather and I hope your family heals. It's never easy losing a loved one, even when you know it's coming.

Sending some internet hugs your way. You'll be all right. With time, everything will be all right. And if you ever feel like you need to talk (whether it be now or after the fact), you'll always have the good people here at the forums.
