Have been sick for the last few days. The worst part is the painful coughing. It would get worse if I pressed by back against anything, as I could feel something inside me building up which would lead to more coughing. Needless to say, sleep has been hard. My dad ended up giving me two of his muscle relaxers, which dulled the pain a little and seemed to have stopped that feeling of buildup.
Granted, those left me feeling stoned but fully aware.

Scheduled an appointment this morning and picked up the truck. Loaded it up and went to the dump because holy shit we have too much broken stuff. We hauled out an old bed and frame, a ruined sofa, a broken end table, a rusted, twisted, damaged beyond repair shelf, some wooden pallets, some cardboard and styrofoam, and a hose that was cut up into three separate pieces. It's funny, we were standing on top of a bunch of old Christmas trees, so the place didn't smell as bad as it could (it still smelled awful, though). My brother, youngest sister, and father were there as well. We drove back, wondering what it would be like if we went with my mom, sister, and uncle to San Antonio. We went to a local barbecue place for lunch since we all managed to retain our appetites.

Today, I went to a computer store with my dad. Didn't buy anything but it was nice just walking around and looking at the merchandise. Later went to a park near a bay where I enjoyed walking around, looking at the area, it was nice despite looking the same. I guess I just like looking at the area more than when I was a child.

Another quiet day. My wife is working again, so I'm holding down the fort. I'm making Shepard's Pie for dinner with homemade mashed potatoes.

I can't wait til Spring Break. I move back into a new apartment then, and I'll get to cruise around in my purple Suzuki with my flask of Kahlua and Butterscotch in tow.

Running on 3 hours of sleep because I didn't know I had to be up at 7 today. Got coffee. Not sure if I'll last much longer. May die in a car accident today, depends how sleepy I get.
