I trained, said my prayers and ate my vitamins. I went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch and the cashier/cook made my dish a little spicier than normal, which I appreciated. Some people know how to take care of their customers.

I got some books and CD's from the library, and tomorrow I'm getting some more books, including some cookbooks.

I'm starting my pharmacy tech training again after taking a break last week.

well, i've been taking alla dat under great considerations and such

I was going to go to the gym when my dad got home, but instead we went to a clothing store and got two sport coats, a gray one and a blue one.

Well, I just got hired on part-time at an adoption agency/foster child mentoring organization, doing computer work, talking to prospective adopters, communicating within the agency and state child welfare system, and working on their computer records, volunteer and 3 days a week to start, but it will supplement my tugboat nicely once I prove myself to them, and it will get me out & about more.

I have no class tonight so I'm going to work on some art stuff that needs to be done.

Trying to finish a poster board for my Tagalog class tomorrow, which I have to present in Tagalog. The board has the same creativity as Chris' costumes. Construction paper!!!!

I made the mistake of going to an alumni reception at the community college I went to and where I also had the worst job of my life 2 years ago. It sucked seeing people I worked with* mingling together, and how much I missed them, I knew them for years, as a student and then as a worker. I should still be working there ;(.

ANYWAY. There's this really skeevy looking guy who works in the computer lab, who was there tonight. He was all decked out, and wearing a ... fedora the entire time. He was wearing a grey plaid suit, I think? But it wasn't classy, it was really, really tacky. When I was a student there, he always leered at the girls from his workstation in the computer lab. Every time I was near someone, there he was a few steps away. Like, he wanted to say something to him, but was too loveshy.

*=not in my department, i saw my bitch of a boss tonight but I didn't get within 20 ft of her tonight.

Today was a boring day but I moved a bunch of shit from point A to point B.

and then I watched Hoarders and made some shitty doodles.

and then my brain dried up.

and then I ordered a Pelikan Traditional M150 (F) for $80 (will be my first proper Pelikan pen. Right now I have a Pelikan Future, which I don't see as being proper, but it's a neat little cheap thing that gets the job done) and a Hero 539 (M) (knockoff of Lamy Safari) for $15 (which had its price bumped up, but that was from the best source for me, so yeah)

Boy do I like pens!!

I got to sperg at an art museum in San Francisco and managed to get a few photos, though they're with my phone so the quality is pretty lame.

I have a lot more but I'm too lazy.

Pretty cool, Mythos! I wish I could visit more art museums, but I'm way too lazy. WORKIN' ON IT, HONEST!

What was the museum's name and what was the exhibtion about? Was it any connected theme?

Thank you!
It's the Legion of Honor and it was just the general admission and it was extra to see the current exhibit that was showcasing a Swedish painters works. I didn't go to see the Swedish artist guy but it was really nice to see the other works since I just adore artwork and all, hehe.

This morning, my Tagalog class had a potluck consisting of some Filipino food, fast food, (Jack in the Box tacos & McDonald's Apple Pies), and some home-made food. I feel like I fattened myself a bit and it was fun, just enjoying a day with my peers, eating food and enjoying the time we had.

My first day of work yesterday was wonderful if a bit overwhelming but will calm down, got the day off today since they were preparing a training curriculum for me and the 3 other interns I work with, today is a whole lot of mehhh other than getting cable and getting a stable internet connection today, *might* be going to a thrift store late this afternoon and hopefully getting my Christmas tree today. Work again plus helping a friend get his diecast car store ready for the next wave of Christmas shoppers on Friday, hopefully getting a new phone plan and smartphone on Saturday.

Wrote a Biology final earlier today.

Was surprised just how long the thing was. It was 15 pages double sided and took me an hour and a half to write.

Still was pretty easy upon retrospect. There were questions like "Put each of these in proper order.

Digestion
Ingestion
Excretion
absorption"

Stuff you could logic your way through normally.

It was the third Final I had this week. I have two more next week.

Right now I'm studying for finals in American History, Tagalog, and Math 60(A form of algebra). Studying over math right now.

Today is another day I've been studying for a final I have tomorrow. I'm rather mixed about it but I'm sure I'll do fine. Aside from studying, the food served at the church I attend had french toast and some quesadillas. AUGH YEAH

Just finished my last exam for the semester so I am free, huzzah!

Oh yeah, quick update: my bed finally got fixed (which more had to do with the frame was a cheap piece of crap despite what one might expect).

Today, I just finished my math exam. 50 questions, multiple choice, and a feeling of "Thank you God for a not so hard looking exam". Now I just gotta be prepared for a Tagalog and American History exam this Wednesday and I'll be done with this semester.
