Yet someone else on my fb feed is having a baby. I almost cried because I've known the guy since kindergarten, that's 25 years!

Something happened along the way somehow, I don't know when, but it was something or some event that has caused me complete denial of happiness, ever.

I'll never have a job, never have a spouse, or a family, never have my own place, or even my own dog.

I wish I knew why I am so cursed.

Who says you need a spouse and kids to be happy? Don't pay attention to what media tells you will make you happy.

I had a dream that happened
I found a toad on the road and, having nothing to carry him in, I put him in my mouth.
Then I got home and I swallowed him by accident and I was devastated.

Real me would never be stupid enough to put a toad in her mouth because she knows that they secrete poison that makes them taste bad and they pee when they're scared. And if you swallowed one you should probably get your stomach pumped.

And a big plate of fried silkworms (which are actually a very common food in Asia sold by street vendors)

The nice thing about eating insects is that it's a good way to get meat that's cheap and requires little space and resources, so it's better for the environment than cows or any other animal raised for meat. I'd honestly say insects are the meat of the future, but the western world is just so disgusted at the idea of eating them that it's the meat of the far future.
I'd eat a fried silkworm those things don't look half bad

The one chance I did get to eat some of these bugs from a cocoa tree in Costa Rica I turned down. They were feeding on the inside so apparently they tasted like chocolate. Wasn't hungry enough

My dad knew a guy who would eat silkworms and bugs and stuff. He was mad at him because he hardly worked and got tons of incentives, so my dad called him a "maggot eating dickface" when the entire family was in the truck on a trip out of town and he was venting to my mom. :/ Although at some point, my dad stopped being a typical Texan and became, you know, a human being, and he doesn't judge people like that anymore. He's actually interested in that because he watches a lot of travel channel these days. Funny how things turn out like that.

I would not eat a cricket because they're literally the most disgusting animals ever. They're flaky and gross, they smell horrible and they shit everywhere
And I have to handle them because my animals need food, the reasons I've stated above is why I don't keep them in my house for prolonged periods of time.

(Also I wouldn't eat a scorpion because I like them too much)

Yesterday evening, my sweetbolt and I went to the mall for fun, we had dinner at a buffet place there (I managed to stomach 8 glasses of Orange Fanta through the whole thing), shopped till we dropped at Spencer's (including two Sonic plushies with zippered heads and two mood rings, I put a mood ring in my sweetbolt's Sonic and gave it to her when we got back to my van), then hanky-panky and looking at the CWCki when we got home. I'm really glad I got my sweetbolt into Christory.
