have to draw have to draw have to draw

but it's been frustrating because i'm not doing as well as i'd like to.

I'm getting a lot of bureaucratic things done so I can transfer back to my main university. I'm tired of being a "super senior" and want to get my Bachelor's Degree by Spring 2015, my mental illnesses be damned.

I went to a restaurant the other night and something didn’t look right.

I met a load of my Canadian relatives who I haven't seen for like twenty years yesterday. Had a good dinner, and tried to catch up on two decades of happenings for nine people!
Found out that pretty much everyone on my dad's side of the family is extremely artistic, most of them make livings as fine artists or illustrators, which was fantastic. My dad and I have always been the more arty members of the family (him far more so than me!) and it was interesting to see the veins of that running through so many generations.
My great uncle hand-made jewellery for years, and once, many years ago made a toy crane for Prince Charles, which I thought was also pretty cool. :)

Well, tomorrow I'm off. Now that summer is just around the next two corners, I'll be working all day, every day except for Wednesdays, I think the summer tourism is going to explode this summer, especially since our islands new airport is supposed to open next Monday, I may be in for a bit of a rude awakening. But I love it. The people are entertaining, the women are gorgeous, the Sundays at Nippers beach. I can only hope I truly take Summer this year for what its truly worth. It's been almost 3 years since I moved back to the Bahamas, I want to be able to enjoy what it can do for me.

We have pine trees in our yard. Ticks love pine trees. I was outside for just a little bit 2 days ago and he probably got under my clothes and found my huge butt and said "ohh!". I can't believe I didn't feel him until last night. Ugh.

Ah, I see. I thought you were mooning people in the woods.

I have an irrational fear of ticks, so when I know I'm going to be in the wilderness I wear jeans and long shirts. Even if it's 90 degrees out. So reading this is terrifying. :surprised::heart-empty:

I've come to the conclusion that I just have to bathe in Off! before I spend any time in my yard other than walking to my car.

The messed up thing is, if he got on me the day I think he got on me, I was wearing tights. He got under my tights. He's strong.

Couple years back I went shooting on a buddy's property about an hour outside Richmond. Went back, drove two hours to the DC area, chilled with the family for a while, went to take a shower for the night, discovered thirteen (!) deer ticks on my body, including one right on the shaft of my penis.

I was pretty carefully watching for signs of Lyme for a while after that. Ticks are awful little bastards.

The last two days have been good (kinda felt like a manchild playing in some jumpers on the college. Some kind of stress-free days since finals are coming up) and I hope this third day becomes a good one.

I'm almost done with my pharmacy tech course. I just finished the last class and now just need to finish the career preparedness class for my certificate.

Then I just need to take the exam and get a job.

I've just got off the phone with Bank of America, I've already expressed how much I hate phone calling, but this wasn't that bad. All the representatives were men (nothing sexist here, but I just hate speaking with female representatives most of all), I spoke properly and coherently with all of them except for the second one, and I only started panicking when told I have until the end of this month before this small loan gets send to the collection agency.

But every things all good, the dues will be paid. Being in a different country but still having American loans is pretty complex. American currency and Bahamian currency can be interchangeable, but there are a lot of other complications.

Probably won't be hanging around here that much anymore. I got some work stuff starting up next month and between than and the long commute, I probably won't get much of a chance to fuck around with lolcows on the internet anymore. *sigh*

Thanks Kiwi forums. It's been.....strange.
Godspeed BatNapalm. May your days be blessed with :qsand:'s and your heart level always be at 100%. :heart-full:
