And with that I think I'm gonna take a month break. As much as I love Helldivers I feel like I'm starting to see the edges fray a bit. Throwing this massive event at us that we could've won, then failing to explain anything and leaving us to argue amongst ourselves and blame each other is an interesting social experiment, but does not make for good game longetivity. So I'm just going to cool my heels and wait until they drop another warbond, or when they do something with the squids. To those of y'all about to be counterattacked in Automaton space, good luck! Have fun! If you have them, make sure to wear your creek cape.

Yeah it is pretty BS. They overtune the vox spawns, new players getting slaughtered en-mass at higher difficulty, etc and to then throw their hands up and say 'nah fam fuck you' is a downer. I figured all the 'we found a bunch of guys' was them fixing their mistakes but I guess the swedes got buttmad people called them out on how obviously they put their finger on the scale.

What would they even do for a perspective 4th faction? Super Earth Secessionists? Some other race of aliens? It would be cool to have a group of colonists break off from Super Earth and have an actual human faction with tactics and similar gear and vehicles to the SEAF/Helldivers but I doubt they'd do anything interesting like that.

Cyborgs are kind of already rebels, so I don't believe they'll do make another faction of rebels. Arrowhead has already done the big 4 archetypes of Science Fiction, so I like to think a 4th enemy is something no one would expect. It kind of has to be.

We already have armors with bionic limbs.
Although those bionic limbs are basic bitch primitive to what the cyborgs are using. It is probable lot of the samples collected from Cyberstan, many of them would be cybernetic. Which without any installed weaponry, can be of immense use at home and on the war front.

So Steeled Veterans 2.
I just want war trophies to honor the fallen from grinding uncountable amounts of bots and helldivers to death.
So another cape.

So Steeled Veterans 2.
Considering we have Python Commandos, which is another like dense jungle rough and tumble warbond aesthetic like Viper Commandos, I don't see why not. Call it Augmented Veterans or something, keeping with the idea they share a partial name or theme, in the case of commandos they're both snakes.

Tempered Veterans

Instead of 1 robot arm we get two robot arms directly inspired/modeled after Michael Ironside in Starship Troopers.

Failing to fix the random giblet-deaths that have occurred during this massive event limited by Helldiver deaths was another classic AH move. I don't know what physics bug is causing them, but finding and fixing it should have been top priority, and I don't know if it was even acknowledged.

Niggers at AH unnder coocked the technical side of the event..

As is said earlier

My thinfoil hat theory the devs, long ago decided to lost against cyberstan (the pulling out from my ass, under the cushion miracle reinforcements just smoke and mirror)

Why ?

The tools witch the foundation of this cyberstane stage were fucking broken / un tuned ( spawn rate, tank , vox engine) and those sweedistan borg morons at AH done jack shit to fix it, so kinda dragged down the whole story arc... Unless its not interfering the expected result which is we gonna lose the sige.

Also this miracle reinforcements boosts kinda patronizing, and show how incompetent and short sighted AH is...

In a ideal word this campaign looked like :

Day 1: Alright boiz you at cyberstan doorstep here 300m dudes WE crunched the numbers its 15%-ish overhead at d10 if you are all locking in, but you can be strategic and drop down the diff to increase the overhead... if you fucking this up its all on you, btw SOME rocket stryed and SOME facotry stryder spawn are swaped to war stryder and the new wox engine

Day 3-4 ish: Ok guys we fucked up the spawn rate and the tonk and mech surviability kinda fucked so we quickly hotfixing it to keep the original reinforcements overheads.

What annoys me is that they'll fix the Vox spawns after the point when it would've fucking mattered. I know the galactic war is fake and gay as long as that Alexus or Joel or whoever the fuck is in charge, but still.

Also I'll chime in to the chorus and say that counting deaths on all fronts instead of the Bot front during a Bot MO was fucking retarded.

That shit doesn't even make sense, allocating a specific number of units to one specific campaign I can understand but they didn't really do that.

They just put a universal cap on all deaths and CALLED it unit allocation for Cyberstan. Super earth has literal trillions of soldiers, they do not need to put a limit on how many people die total.

Someone actually did the math, if they didn't count bugniggers deaths we'd have an extra ~30 million units and would've had a chance at beating the MO.

There's no fucking way AH didn't know what would happen. Every single time an MO has required the entire fanbase to work together it's failed.

Bugdivers will not leave their front. Ever. Even during the Super Earth invasion there were like 12-20k people pissing away lives on %0.0000 captured bug planets the entire time.

Putting a death cap on the entire playerbase instead of just on bot planets was a death sentence.

If the lost means we either get a warbond based around this idea/ a Bot Helldiver it would be worth it

Through at some point we are going to need a new faction.

I'd much rather have the three existing factions fully developed than shoehorning in an extra one. The automatons received THREE subfactions (one of them being the cyborgs), while the bugs got one (the rupture strain was removed for being gigacancer) and the Illuminate didn't even get a full roster.

Failing to fix the random giblet-deaths
That's intentional. The main capsule literally fires itself at you when the Vox engine dies. It's so poorly executed it feels like jank. Same thing with how the Vox engine is the only enemy in the entire game who will continue to shoot its weapons at you during its dying animation until it actually fully explodes, breaking longstanding mechanical convention with every other enemy in the game. Between the rare and intermittent Hive Lords relegated to hive world planets and how persistently fucked Leviathans have been until they lobotomized them, Vox engines feel like a proper middle finger.
