This again? How many times are these professional victims going to set up sites like this, only for it to fail because of their massive egos and their constant need to get the gold medal in the Oppression Olympics. Even if it does go up (doubt it, this has scam written all over it), I give it a week tops before it all falls. Twitter has a very good block feature now and also for other sites there's the magical red cross button and you don't need $20k or whatever to learn how to use that.
 
I'm going to use this website to report Brad Watson for not telling me how long my noncommutable sentence to Hell is.
 
Something tells me that if this site gets to be live, it would attract attention from the lolcows to get more White Knights, as long as they manage to paint themselves as the ''innocent people'' in the tale.
 
All this talk of harassment got me thinking. Fearmongering and over sensitivity on college campuses, pissing contests on Twitter and other various social media, people that use tragedy and controversy for personal gain..

You know society is well and truly fucked when the most vocal and easily recognized opinion on a controversial topic is conversely the minority one when it consists of wannabe Dumblr feminists and transgender edgelords that are only in it to gain muh oppression points for likeminded hugboxes and attack anyone that dares criticize their worldview.
 
Street harassment is a bad thing and all of the fedora donning spergs who don't think it's a big deal are fucking shit heads, but Hollerback doesn't really do anything about it other than provide a hugbox to complain about it.

At best, this will be ineffective. At worst, this will devolve into a "this person disagreed with me. all likeminded people should go after them!" personal army shit storm.

If we follow the standard of lolcows SJW we are going to be like GamerGate to Wu, a invisible boogeyman who only goal in the world is just to make them suffer, knowing their lack of knowlegde outside their hugbox the most possible target will be 8chan

In the weird case that we attract their attention, a little reminder, lolcows only have power in their turfs (Twitter,tumblr,facebook), but here? this is Kiwi gang territory, here they dont have any power, their usual tactics for getting asspats doesnt work here, threats of lawlsuits and suicides are mocked, so here, they are little dogs barking a huge iron wall

It's not a failure to get $20k for doing absolutely nothing if you're a scammer, and pretty much everyone associated with this bullshit project is a scammer.

Now you know why as I was angry since sophomore year.
I was afraid of having to deal with these people.
 
Assuming they don't run off with the money, this place will become a lolcow breeding ground and a wonderful place for trolling.

Sites like these never end well.

Looks like we got an update. I assume by "perks" it means that the limited creation of the website and other various rewards will roll out in July. Email is also holla@ihollaback.org if anybody is interested. The very first reward for pledging 1$ promises early access to the platform so its likely that we may see the lolcowpocalypse in its incubation period by then.

"Safe spaces" are basically Kindergarten sped classes from what I've heard of them. I don't get why you'd even waste money going to university if you didn't want to learn new stuff and question your beliefs.
