Another thing to note is that when you make an account be sure you have a throw-away e-mail and social media account on hand. The sign up process is stupidly intrusive and they request you post a social media account that they can monitor and document when approving your account. Totally not data-mining at all.

Thing that is telling is that there really are people willing to have their accounts monitored and archived by a 3rd party. If I remember correctly reading the Twitter account linkage it seems they even have access to your DMs. There are people willingly giving access to possibly sensitive data to an unknown party simply because they have a website that they agree with.

I mean, they can't be fuckng serious right?

I went back and checked. They state they don't have access to your DMs or your password. But they are asking me to type my Twitter password into their site. Hmmmm

More and more this is looking like a fairly clever data mining scheme.

It wouldn't shock me if they are trying to get some analytical data from this mess, the site looks like it was put together by "Web 2.0 experts" and even if they never look at the data they are really obsessed with collecting it. If they do look at it I think they are going to try an use it to prove some number the SJW's like to throw around like X number of Y are raped on Z every #of minutes.

Ummm, isn't that like, I dunno, phishing? And isn't that illegal?

Also, just to clarify, what is DM? Direct message?

Yeah, that's straight up phishing. Unlike a standard two factor verification service through something like a sales website that lets you share information about a purchase via your Twitter (in which case a middleman service handles the transfer of data so they don't get complete access to your account, merely temporary access to transfer data with your informed consent on an as needed basis), they are basically asking you hand over private data that could compromise your privacy and safety directly.

With unencrypted, direct access to your Twitter, these assholes will basically have all your dox, be able to read your direct messages (DMs), and they could mess with your settings since you gave them the password.

It doesn't matter how benign their intentions may or may not be, they are engaging in a flagrantly illegal business practice, as by default only Twitter and law enforcement, with proper legal authorization, should have access to that information in its complete, unencrypted state.

I love how there's criteria for harassment. Like, unless you were harassed in a specific way, you weren't harassed at all.

Anyone who legitimately signs up to this is pretty much a total lolcow.

Yeah but just think of the legwork that Heartmob users will save when they cannibalise each other and want to dox fellow members

Arrighty. I'm really tempted to try calling some of these people out on their shit or at least give them the always-sound advice of going outside, but I don't want my account suspended, so I'll just lie low.

On another note, here's what I put in my About:
I really love cats. I wanna help people whose feelings are hurt by random strangers on the Internet. If I share my extreme love of cats with them and show them pictures of cute kittens, they will hopefully feel better.
Stop powerlevelling, they're gonna watch here, too.

I'm just waiting for the data breech and all the special snowflakes' account login data to end up on some pastebin link posted on a chan. It's going to be an amazingly lulzy time. Something tells me their security isn't exactly cutting edge.

Edit: NEvermind I just read an article that said security is their number 1 priority and they even hired a security compan to try to breech them. That place is unhackable, might as well stop trying.

It will be hilarious when Heartmob and their shitty practices are singlehandedly responsible for the biggest mass doxing of certified crybabies in history. It's like they're doing the job of preparing these veal lolcalves for us themselves.

Yeah, I don't think its a matter of if but when. With their mission statement, I honestly don't think they have the budget to be 'secure.' Plus how they have you link your account just makes it more juicy and puts more attention on it. Once they get a userbase big enough to make anything worth it, I bet they get hit. It is going to be glorious.

I just hope that whoever does this, waits long enough to get a critical mass of human trash. It'd be disappointing if a few months from now, someone breaks this open, and only finds half a dozen real people signed up.

That's assuming that there isn't somebody (or several somebodies) lurking on their servers right now sucking up new dox as they come in. With the way they collect info and verify their users Heartmob is in all likelihood going to attract much larger internet predators than just some script kiddies from the chans.

The NSA and PLA Unit 61398 would probably be interested in getting access to thousands of people's PMs/DMs amongst other, non-government, entities. Some of these groups may not release their findings publicly, sadly, but when one of them does, the ensuing shitstorm is going to truly be something to behold.

Oooh, conspiracy theory time! Maybe this is all a setup for the black helicopter people to find out who the weakminded are and implant chips in them after monitoring their every comment.

We have got to introduce the Gangstalking crazies to this.

They will demand attention from this group, then conclude they are part of the conspiracy.

Which, in a sense, they actually are.

So, they have started to post actual 'cases' in the public.

https://iheartmob.org/home/113

@stephHerold made a tweet about ending white supremacy and a bunch of actual racists or possibly just trolls started tweeting to her. She runs to heartmob to do something about this horrible traumatic event. They promptly post her case publicly where anyone can see it and now know that she is easily triggered and what triggers her.

They have now made it easy for resourceful trolls to find a target for the lulz. Good job heartmob.

Edit: never mind she is some 'social scientist/pro-abortion activist/I need to make every know I'm Jewish even when that fact is irrelevant type person that seems to thrive in victimhood. She's probably part of this project.

"End White Culture!"

3 edgy 5 me, Steph.

Already gives a taste to the tumblrite target audience for this nonsense.

Not that I think there is a monolithic 'white' culture or anything but Steph did just advocate the destruction of an entire culture, what did she expect?!? She's down with genocide.
