The pentagrams though, those definitely were not necessary even for a show about hell. I'm reminded of when Mike Knowles accused hazbin hotel of "promoting Satanism " like he was Jack chick going after d&d when the collectibles they sell have actual symbols on them....yeah he kinda does have a point.

This could have been done so much better, even if you're not a big fan of this uke/seme bullshit Vivz is into. Just have an A plot (the actual victim of the week) and a B plot (where you can put all your gay romance shit). Just by actually maintaining a focus on the actual premise of the show and then pursuing the B plot concurrently, you'd still have a functional show.

Instead it's full homo all the time for no really good reason. Literally everyone is >9000% gay. All the time.

Something I noticed unrelated to your post is the gripes about pointless obscenity. I am not exactly a prude, so obscenity doesn't offend me and I'm fine using it myself, but obscenity is not BY ITSELF funny.

And I think the funniest think in the whole first season was this bit in D.H.O.R.K.S. where Moxxie makes the douchiest coffee order of all time.

well, Goetia is "real" demons, so there's that. I noticed the lack of their respective sigils on more recent merch along with the absence of pentagrams. But i also noticed there weren't any zodiac constellations or... really any iconography.

Maybe it's just this merch run? Would be interesting to see if they dial the Satanic imagery back even further.

I think it's funny. I don't find the ultimate problem to be de-sexifying hot chicks and dudes with huge bulges, or the toning down of classic Satanic symbolism... the real SIN is kowtowing to Amazon and Bezos (all while continuing to masquerade as indie). Selling out is and alwys will be lame!

It's all math, the animation is a certain number of frames and the music is at whatever time. You need to figure out how to match it so that your animation frames hit on the time. Shouldn't be too hard if that gif is still 24fps like the original animation is since that song is in four. You just need to make the animation a number of frames long that is divisible by four.

Add a small pause to the head bob at the end of each swing so that you can emphasize her hitting the beat would probably be the best way to do it. IRL you need a second or two for your muscles to accelerate and slow down so a head bob on a real person speeds and slows, animated characters tend to have constant speed and instantaneous direction changes.

thats kind of what i was thinking.

i saw a post that said to do some math formulas and then adjust the clip speed to match the time between beats but that also didnt seem to work too well.

It's as much an art as a science, you need to develop a feel for it to some degree as well. Not at all bad for a first try though.

i basically filled the timeline with the loop section and then manually adjusted each one so it fit. it would be like 1-2 frames out in different sections.

idk. i had fun fuckin around. especially with the double one.

I think the main reason for why people think season 2 is better than season 1 is because of Vox. If he wasn't the main star, this season would have been received a whole lot worse.

Well that and it has something approaching a narrative throughline as well, something that S1 severely lacked.
