Well that and it has something approaching a narrative throughline as well, something that S1 severely lacked.
Give me rainbows, but I'm optimistic for season 3. Since it's the main reason the show was greenlit in the first place, it's probably going to be more thought out than season 2 which, if rumors are to be believed, was quickly put together since season 1 had all the initial 'wow' moments to hook people. If nothing else, the songs will at least be good.

Sure, but I'd have to counter with the fact that S1 and S2 had so many retcons and whatnot as a direct reaction to things like fan theories and the writer's general inability to stay the course that I highly doubt S3 will live up to the hype. But hey, the show was on an upward trajectory, so it'll probably be better than S1&2 but I still don't think it'll be good.

I think the main reason for why people think season 2 is better than season 1 is because of Vox. If he wasn't the main star, this season would have been received a whole lot worse.

I found season 2 to generally be more enjoyable. When i did my new years binge of both seasons i found i enjoyed season 1 more the second time. but then season 2 was still better. Something about it is simply more enjoyable. I like music so the song selection for s2 really peaked its enjoyment for me as well.

I wish i had a concrete explanation as to why s2 was better to me.

I am also really looking forward to season 3. The way it looks they might do big stuff with angel. After the s2 ending they better finally let alastor do alastor things. No more being a submissive faggot

I like the reply.

Target looks to be a CEO bigwig. Will there be another "capitalism bad" message?
I mean, considering their political leanings, more likely than not. Expect people to celebrate the CEO’s passing in the show.
EDIT: I will give them credit if it’s a bait and switch though.

We saw how the fanbase tied themselves in knots to justify Mr. Wriggler's gruesome death. Was there any positive or negative reaction to the short where Blitzo was presented as the Chupacabra by a greedy Mexican and it ended with him dying along with a bunch of other Mexicans getting maimed?

Amazon execs seeing the Lute single mother arc.

"Yo, you know how the entirety of S2 was about proving to Hell that redemption is possible? Well, fuck all that noise. I've got clickbait to milk."

Tbf, Season 2 still barely did anything with the whole redemption stuff. We know nothing about the residents who lived there, their lives, what they did, or if they're even actually considering redemption. It's just a whole side thing because Vivzie thought it'd get the fans to stop complaining on why the basic premise of the show took this long to actually take fruition.

We at least get to know about a few characters' sins in their past lives (Namely Angel, Alastor, and Vox), but the redemption thing is, like you said, pushed aside. Now that redemption is public knowledge, we might get to see a few more characters redeemed in season 3.

Speaking of basic premises, that Gravity cover is reminding me how Lute's subplot went absolutely nowhere. All that build-up and she gets shooed back to the kitchen?

I'm gonna argue that if a show takes three seasons to get good, that's a problem. Hope we get another Husk solo tho.
