Saw a discussion regarding that on 4chan, and people are debating on if it is actually canon that Charlie is 200. I might need to watch the pilot again, but if I recall, the date of the family photo saying 1871 was removed in the final product. Wouldn't be surprised if they do decide to rectify that Charlie is only in her 20s. Not that would make her dating a potential 7 year old any less weird. but that would at least make her missing Lilith more reasonable as she would be gone for a third of her life versus her being gone for what is about 1/40 of it.
My man the pilot straight up does not matter. It's not going to make any more or less sense with or without it.

At this point with HB's pilot getting remade because it doesn't fit the characters at all post-S2, I have to assume they are going to do the same with HH at some point. It is very clear with both shows that the ideas they had in the pilot episodes do not at all match what actually ended up being created.

Only HB. They said a while ago the original pilot was no longer canon, and back in October released the new "first" episode:

HH's pilot is still considered canon for now, but if they did this with HB I assume it is coming at some point for HH for the same reasons.

I know, I'm just trying to cite any physical references as opposed to quoting info that was stated in livestreams like 85% of Hellaverse lore, because there will be those who are going to be skeptical if things that were established in the past were actually stated or people were making it up.

Brandon claims he "thinks" Amazon was the one who wanted the pilot remade as part of them acquiring Helluva. Objectively, Hazbin's pilot is more in need to be remade, but Viv and the fans insist that the characters aren't acting differently in the series.

Leave the HH pilot alone, it doesn't need a remake.

The events of the pilot is still canon according to Viv.

Granted I think it's the more major ones because we see Lucifer hang out with some of the overlords in the pilot, but in the actual show he doesn't know who any of them are.

People believed that silhouette of the guy sitting is Lucifer. And if you zoom in closer the resemblance is more noticeable.

Huh, I never noticed this. That's definitely him. Has the same hat and the apple staff.

The part from the pilot that always stuck out to me in hindsight was:

Why the fuck is Vassago, a random Goetia, chilling with the overlords and, per Vaggie's dialogue, among the "most ancient and destructive evils"? He isn't even "evil" when he does appear, they wrote him as one of the only "good" characters in Mastermind because he points out how fake and gay the trial is if they don't have Stolas there to testify. Maybe they intended him to be an overlord at first, and later scrapped/recycled him as a Goetia for HB, I guess.

A more poignant question would be what's the in-universe explanation for why there are so many Latinxs in Hell? And why are these Hellborn who've never interacted with Earth Latinxs in the first place?

God disapproves of race mixing.
Humoring this, but Biblically the problem isn't "race mixing" as there are quite a few positive examples. What is discouraged is people of different Religions marrying which always causes problems. The "race mixing" comes into play here because people of different races would usually have different religions.

Obviously I'm being facetious.

I wouldnt be surprised if originally Vassago wasnt supposed to be a "good" guy. But, since stuff was scrapped and Viv needed a mouth piece for the trial episode, she tossed him there. Since the character didnt have much done for him, save just for som art concepts

Yep. That's pretty much it. There's also a previous version of that shot where we can see what looks to be like Stolas.

You know for all the issues that I had with Season 1 of Helluva Boss; it really came down to personal preferences. I'm just not really a fan of how Helluva Boss handles it's humor and flow, but that's fine. I can say that I don't really like putting pineapple on my pizzas, but that doesn't mean it's invalid. I think technically, for all it's faults, season 1 did at least have a structure and flow to its episodes that worked and probably made some people, most notably in the younger demographic, laugh.

Season 2 is even worse than I remember. It is so fucking bad and insufferable to watch. Initially I just said "I don't know, I just thought it sounded x" as some broad stroke joke because of all the random shit she likes to throw in her stuff, but god-fucking-damn she uses that as her fucking motto when she writes her shit. I guarantee you she has it tattooed on her arm in her ugly neo-steampunk font.

Why does episode 1 even fucking exist? Because I don't know, I just thought it sounded cool to really develop the relationship between Blitzo and Stolas as something a bit more than transactional. And I don't know, I mean, people were bitching that Stolas and Blitzo felt a little underdeveloped and lacking in any depth so, I don't know, I just thought maybe making them childhood friends based off of Hell's class dichotomy was a really cool idea. And I don't know, I know it really breaks the character of Stolas' dad (I forgot his name already) to have him curse for no reason as he talking to people and it snaps the flow of the characterization in half, but I don't know, I just thought it would be really funny. And I don't know, I know Helluva Boss wasn't initially a overly dramatized show, but, I don't know, it seems like the fans really liked the dramatization a lot, so, I don't know, I just thought I'd lean a bit heavily into that.

The way that it irritatingly expands on dramatic elements in the show that were vaguely established in Season 1 and pollutes the tone. The way that it strays from the original premise of the show with it's violent slapstick style. Goddamn.

There's like no fucking character flow at all in episode 1. Characters will establish themselves and then break themselves in half or make out of character or subversive dialogue bits that completely disrupts the scenes. Why does Paimon curse out of turn despite coming from a very aristocratic background? Because, once again, I don't know, I just thought it'd be funny. Why does Paimon accompany his "chosen heir" to a circus with, what I presume, is the in world equivalent to a Facetime object? Because, I don't know, I just thought Stolas needed a central conflict and... I don't know, I just thought it would be funny tee hee. Nevermind the fact that it was clearly established in Season 1 that imps will regularly try and rob and capture rich aristocrats for whatever purposes, but I don't know, it's just funny. Why is Blitzo so easily bought by his dad with worthless amounts of currency? Oh wait no no no, now he's going to use him to rob the place nevermind the fact that this wasn't set up or established that Blitzo and... I guess Fitzrolli are experienced thieves. It's barely fucking established that he is in Season 1. Is he deliberately trying to get his worthless son killed? I don't know, I just thought it would properly set up Stolas' characterization wtih Blitzo. Why is Stella... Stella in this? Because, I don't know, I needed to add more conflict to this relationship because people were complaining that it was a purely transactional relationship with no depth. Why does Stolas even need an arranged fucking marriage in the first place? Because, I don't know, it adds more conflict to his character.

There's no thought or consistency to any of the development of characters or concepts in this episode, it's just a chaotic, clusterfuck of random shit that Vivienne Medrano thought would be cool, adds depth, or rounds out her characterization... or just because she thought it'd be funny. You leave her with her own devices, and she'll either write with one hand (while jerking off to her little whumps Blitzie and Stolas <3), with one eye on social media (because she needs to know if she's doing shit the right away according to her fans), or whatever her ADHD addled mind comes up with on the fly. And lord knows her ADHD mind is hyper fixated on that owl and imp.

A much simpler criticism of HB is that Vivienne took a concept which worked well as an episodic comedy sketch and tried to shoehorn it into a soap opera. Some shows just don't need substantial continuity between episodes. But, like seemingly anything tumblrettes touch, the show had to devolve into shipping that strangled the comedy under an avalanche of sexual frustration.
