this nameless background character deserves to be more than what she is.
Pretty sure that is a stolen OC or something.
We know Satan is going to be in S4 of Hazbin according to what his voice actor said.

Finally, some good fucking food. Lute is gonna do something and kill the bear faggot.

Especially with that flashback in S2, you think Vaggie would be a bit traumatized over killing her former comrades, it's perfectly acceptable if that she doesn't have a breakdown during the battle and immedate aftermath, you could easily explain it away as adrenaline and being in a life or death scenario that leaves no mental room for that stuff. But just like Finn, Vaggie doesn't care later, she doesn't have any second thoughts of maybe if she tried hard enough she could convince at least some of the people she knew to give up and retreat back to Heaven to live to see another day even if none of them would fully turn sides.

There's a ton of parallels to be drawn with Vaggie and Finn, but especially so in how much both were such a missed opportunity to showcase how the normally faceless soldiers are actually people under those helmets, you don't need to dedicate a ton of screentime to this concept, maybe have a 30 second scene of Vaggie, obviously uncomfortable and thinking alone on a balcony, perhaps looking at Heaven, flashing between her being amicable with some of her former comrades and her killing them during the battle before another character interrupts her brooding would get the message across crystal clear without any dialogue.
We already know Vaggie's feelings about Heaven are pretty negative, calling all the angels up there "bloodthirsty and deranged". Which makes some sense if she is essentially a child soldier, that has been trained to be Heaven's army against Hell ever since she was created. We never see any exorcists (besides Adam and Lute) walk or fly around the rest of Heaven where Winners or other angels are at. So it's safe to assume that the life of an exorcist is that of a military boot camp, where you can never show any sign of weakness. If Vaggie was able to live a life outside of her exorcist duties, she probably would miss her life in Heaven.

The only reason why she prefers Hell is because of Charlie. Without her, I'm pretty sure she would despise Hell even more than she does Heaven. I don't think she likes the majority of people in Hell, and only really tolerates the people at the Hotel. She's just helping because that is what Charlie wants. If Charlie for whatever reason decided to give up on the hotel and just fucked off to some remote place with Vaggie, I'm sure Vaggie would be 100% on board with that.

In some ways, Lute and Vaggie parallel each other. Both are obsessed with one person that showed them care when no one else does. If Charlie was to die, Vaggie would probably be crashing out the same way that Lute is.

Late but is Husk just Begemot from Master and Margarita and why is Viv's writing so bad that I didn't even notice this fact until just now.
He should have been Lucifer's debtor if this is the case. It also would have worked much better in terms of plot and jokes. I guess she really needed to see a cat fuck a spider and/or force Keith David to make sex noises she can save on her hard drive.
Also lol Master and Margarita's record as the only Russian book Anglophones ever read remains unbroken.

what do you mean? like viv stole it and put it in the show?
In her thread there's documented use of her """stealing""" OCs from other people in her Zoophobia era, and once she burned bridges, she changed a few key details on some of them in order to suit stuff up. The best one that comes in my mind is Valentino.

What a weirdo.

With the release of the S2 soundtrack on iTunes, they added 3 demo tracks along with it. They're all presumably sung by Sam Haft because of it, but the different instrumental direction they thought about going in these are interesting.

Piss: Entirely different genre than final version with it being slow paced through the entire thing

Brighter: Pretty close to the final version but uses synthwave, easily the best of the three.

Losin' Streak: Autotune Hell, again Sam Haft is probably the one singing but good god this was hard to listen to.

One theory I've seen making the rounds before the finale was that Val wasn't a rapist in life, he turned into one during his stay in hell because he has to survive in hell and groomed to be way worse by Angel. The snake adds credibility to that theory since the sin that matters was done in life (running away from a serial killer), not in hell (from coward to warlord to survive).

Of course nobody will accept the faggot spider ever doing anything wrong and acknowledging the setting is in Hell. "He's a rapist so everything he had done is moot. Hes irredeemable." while ignoring he's a porn film maker and Angel been in hell longer than him. Also ignoring Vel making date rape potions at the same time. Val is simply a pimp who slapped a few hoes.
Had a busy weekend so just checking now, but huh. That's a detail I always forget about. Angel died decades before Val. Just what was he doing with all his time? He somehow avoided becoming a slave all that time. He doesn't seem like the kind who would be completely alone, but yet he seems to have no friends contemporary to his death time. Cherri is the 80s, Val was the 70s... He could have met Husk before or seen Nifty, Pentious or Alastor but he apparently didn't.

So, after decades of experience, yet never acquiring any kind of power or influence of his own, he finally decided to go join the pimp.

Angel Dust was kind of an underachiever in the Helliarchy. He probably didn't even sell out for power.

What would he have done with himself if he wasn't just being a woobie?

Probably doing drugs

Thats literally what I said. I had actually brought that up I believe in my redesign of Val and AngelDust it genuinely baffled me.

I actually had a character in a project I was working on that was similar to Angel, the main difference being that he was 19 so his lack of life experience was understandable.

I think Angel was supposed to have died around 30? Maybe just in the 30s and I am mistaken, because he reads as college age at the oldest.

I feel like Alastor would either be the penultimate final boss or the boss that comes after the villain that seemed set up as the final villain
Kind sir, how can someone be the "penultimate final boss". Those two words are contradictory.

As the kiwi farms official guardian of the word penultimate, I have given your post a dislike rating.

To avoid a dislike rating in the future please be more considerate about how you use the word penultimate - it may seem like a cool word to use and it is but it is also a powerful and evocative word that the k-farms userbase are protective of. You can look at my profile to see commentary from other k-farms users about the usage of the word penultimate.

Good day. Do better.

For those wondering, "penultimate" means second-to-last. (Third-to-last would be antepenultimate, and fourth-to-last would be preantepenultimate.) The naming convention should make it fairly clear that the word Doctor of Autism actually meant to use was plain old "ultimate".

If Deer twink were the "penultimate" foe, he wouldn't be the final boss. He'd be the last guy before the final boss.

"Penultimate final boss" would, if one were not a pecksniffish pedant, clearly refer to the second-to-last arc villain; the second to last final boss of a season-long story.

But if one is a pecksniffish pedant, then one might get one panties in a bunch, despite the clear intent of the phrase.

You come at me with such a strong argument that I find myself unable to counter.
I have been defeated and I consneed... the usage of the word penultimate may actually be correct and not an "ATM machine" kind of situation.

I will immediately revert my dislike of the post in question to a like.

That book is a massive question mark that I don't think will ever be satisfactorily answered, because I strongly suspect the "exterminations only started 7 years ago" reveal is itself a retcon that was inserted mid-writing of season 2.
On the topic of "7 years ago"....was time in the afterlife ever confirmed to be equivalent to Earth-time? Like, are we sure 7 years in Hell matches up with 7 years on Earth? & for that matter, is afterlife time even linear?

To make a Good Place reference, maybe HH/HB's time also operates similar to a Jeremy Bearimy.

Considering how much Viv hates Charlastor and can't stop liking posts on Bluesky that shit on it and its fans, it definitely won't. She's extremely firm in her stance that Alastor has no interest in relationships.
Oh, wow. That's shocking to learn, considering there seemed to be a lot of random Alastor/Charlie bait tossed into season 2 (although I guess its' possible Viv is just trying to pander to Tumblr shipping fangirls. who seem to compose a surprisingly large chunk of the fandom). Charlie confirming that she is BI - not a lesbian, Alastor's deal with Vox having a clause to protect Charlie, than returning to the hotel at the end despite his hatred of Lucifer (who presumably is still living there). Heck, this season even heavily downplayed the Vaggie/Charlie romance - Vaggie seemed more interested in picking a new name than her girlfriend's hotel issues.

The lesbian song and dance kept the gooners satisfied as they spread the GIFs around.
Anyone else convinced season 3 will kill off Vaggie? It's obvious Viviepop has no idea what to do with the character post Exorcist-saga/now that Hell & Heaven's relationship have been normalized.

If Lute is the main villain of season 3, I can see her sneaking down to Hell & murdering overlords & anyone else she deems a threat to heaven.

It is pretty funny and shows just how ass Viv is at developing the ships she actually supports (though Baxter and Niffty are an exception). Even with how little Alastor and Charlie interacted this season, fans still got a few bones unintentionally tossed their way. Not to mention Chaggie continues to be as flavorful as raw chicken.
