I'm wondering. Has Vaggie had a single song lyric that doesn't in some way relate to her wanting to bang Charlie?
Even in "When I Think About the Future," her line is just her simping over Charlie. It's like the dyke version of the Bechdel Test.

Now that I think about it, why didn't they just have Alastor make his deal with Lucifer? Not only would it explain Alastor's power, it would also explain why he has to work for Lucifer's daughter.

Feels like a rewrite. I think the original idea was lilith but then they changed her character and it no longer made any sense. ( Willing to bet her whole twist is she was just trying to get into heaven and when offered ghosted hell.)

It feels like a pull that cannibal town lady weirdly has the ability to elevate people above herself? If she can it creates a weird plot whole where people can grant more power then they possess. Thay should of made the V's unstoppable if that was the case.

Hazbin Hotel is aimed at adults.

Ehhhhhhh this is debatable at best. It's aimed at people who are old enough to know about sex and profanity and queerbait, I'll give you that.

But adults? Not at anyone adult enough to crack a book of their own volition.

There was a leak before S1 aired that said Alastor's soul was owned by Rosie who is actually Lilith in disguise, and the 'Lilith' we see is in fact Eve in disguise.

It's funny, because Sera, Emily, and Niffty can pass this test, while Vaggie, Cherri, kinda sort of Lute because she doesn't give a shit about the other exorcists killed in the battle, and switching shows here, Millie definitely fails and Stella counts because her whole character is hating Stolas.

Really if you're a female in a relationship who's not named Charlie Morningstar in this universe, you're basically obligated to have the whole or at least vast majority of your character revolve around whoever you want to bang, your only hope to get some decent solo development is to be single.

Remember all those reviews that complained S2 had way too much Heaven and not enough Angel Dust? And the "too much" ended up being a single episode and maybe fifteen additional minutes all told, whereas Angel had two-and-a-half episodes dedicated to him?
We need to stop letting fujos write for entertainment articles.
That faggot is getting attention on the same level as the fucking owl and I'm getting tired of it. Goku should "sue" (beat) that drug addict for stealing his hair.
I had to see the second pic and its replies, so now I’m inflicting it on all of you. You’re welcome.

With this being the "perfect" target audience.

Redeem Val. I want to see the rage.
One theory I've seen making the rounds before the finale was that Val wasn't a rapist in life, he turned into one during his stay in hell because he has to survive in hell and groomed to be way worse by Angel. The snake adds credibility to that theory since the sin that matters was done in life (running away from a serial killer), not in hell (from coward to warlord to survive).

Of course nobody will accept the faggot spider ever doing anything wrong and acknowledging the setting is in Hell. "He's a rapist so everything he had done is moot. Hes irredeemable." while ignoring he's a porn film maker and Angel been in hell longer than him. Also ignoring Vel making date rape potions at the same time. Val is simply a pimp who slapped a few hoes.

Hazbin is more aimed at teens especially when the ratings are like 15+
I meant it's not aimed at kids like Steven Universe. My bad.

- Alastor might be actually falling in love with Charlie
I hope this doesn’t happen. I liked how Alastor’s asexuality was contrasted with Vox, who was clearly infatuated with him. Alastor being asexual always struck me as a silly and unnecessary inclusion in season 1, but here it paid off. You got the impression that Vox was truly heartbroken by Alastor’s rejection, and that humanizes him. It makes Alastor’s provocations work - Vox pushes away his friends and “loses his marbles in act 3”. Alastor being above petty human feelings like love or lust makes him far more threatening. I don’t wanna see that ruined by shoehorning in some stuff about Alastor loving Charlie romantically.

I would accept Alastor caring for Charlie as a friend, but only because I feel that has set-up and pay-off. While Alastor is whining about his captivity at the end of season 1, he says that “Alastor Altruist [dying] for his friends” is an absurdity. Of course, we know Sir Pentious did just that - died for his friends and was freed from Hell’s bondage. This, to me at least, suggested that Alastor played himself - gave up an opportunity for true freedom by running away to save his own life. Now that Alastor is free this isn’t very probable, but my point is that Alastor befriending Charlie is infinitely more believable than loving her.

Romance writer lmao, the romance is easily one of the worst written parts of the hellverse. I dare anyone to mention any pairing that feels natural and believable between the two shows.
Baxter and Nifty.

Obviously that relationship is going to turn romantic, or at least erotic, especially when you stop to think that one of them is a drunk and degenerate gambler and the other is a screeching cross-dressing faggot.
It’s frustrating because we know Angel murdered his biological father / has daddy-issues AND that Husk never had time for a family. The “he’s a grown-up” line made me think that maybe Husk would be a paternal figure for Angel, rather than another person to fuck him. Alas, alack, this is Hazbin Hotel and the sparkle cat will fuck the gay spider.

why did you redeem.mp4
A little haha funny I made while we now wait for a dogshit season 3.
Maybe I’m dating myself but I legitimately expected “WAZAAAAAAHHH”.

I watched Hazbin S2 last night on my second monitor while gaming and I'm gonna be honest, I think Helluva Boss is cringe, I thought Hazbin S1 had the outline of a decent plot that was executed poorly with not a single song I enjoyed despite enjoying musicals but this 2nd season I actually really liked. Does anybody feel the same or should I visit the doctor for brain damage? Imo, Vox hard-carried the entire show by being a really good villain so I don't expect a 3rd season to be this good again but I think pretty much everyone just had better character writing this season and I'm not sure what exactly changed.

Honestly, if this was real, I bet Viv would be so happy that she’d frame it. People like her love pretending it’s still the fucking Bush administration. This is literally the response she wanted Hazbin to provoke but it was simply too lame to actually succeed. She probably would forward this to Mick Ignis and then ask if she can suck his dick.

I'm sorry, but the way Vox died when he was human legitimately made me laugh.
Definitely conforms to what Sir Pentious was saying about the fickleness of life and death. Vox got done in by his own set design, Alastor gets Dick Cheney’ed, etc.

After sitting on the finale for a few days I think it's time a break down my major thoughts.

Likes:
-Getting the obvious out of the way and what basically everyone has said, Vox carries this season on his back and blows Adam and Stella out of the water, both entertainment factor and the things that make a villain good, while both are admittedly terrible competition, he easily stands on his own and the unlike them the show gives reasons for why he is. Though I do wish 'Brighter' focused more on the cultist aspect of his backstory instead of it mostly being about how he killed his way up to the top.
-They humanized the Vees in general to a surprising extent, they might all be terrible people but they do legitimately care for each other, while it was clear that Valentino and Velvette were going to betray Vox after his ego started to get out of control, they don't really outright betray him and more or less put him in time-out after he made it clear he was get everybody killed just to get revenge on Alastor and went on another tirade about he's a god.
-I feel the songs were for the most part better, which is good considering there's more of them than in S1, there's still songs that feel a bit like they had to meet a self-imposed quota or were built up poorly that they didn't feel deserved.
-The pacing isn't perfect, but I feel it's mostly fine, maybe it's because S1's had absolutely some of the worst pacing a show has ever had, but points for improvement. Even if that doesn't mean that certain characters such as Velvette didn't need a bit more going on, or that certain arcs didn't feel rushed.

Meh:
-The care bears ending. I get what they were going for, the opening of S1 establishes that Lilith was attempting to unite Hell using music to resist Heaven, and here's Charlie doing the same with all the Overlords (plus Emily) to save countless denizens of Hell from destruction from a device literally called 'The might of Lilith', it might be subtle as a brick but it's a writing motif been used in stories since ancient times. The problem is its presentation is way too cheesy and Lute and Able showing up halfway through the song comes across as "Oh yeah, we need Lute to do something besides Gravity and Able has done fuck all this season as well."
-Lute, I admit I like she's not really an antagonist this season since she'd have to share the spotlight with the Vees, but I would have had her do a bit more that mattered, maybe be the devil on Sera's shoulder urging for war and Sera is definitely affected by her until her and Pentious' duet happens. Despite Vox being setup as the future antagonist in S1 with episode 2 and 8 and how he seemingly doesn't do all that much, him sending Pentious to spy on the hotel is critical for how Alastor finds out that Carmilla knows how to kill angels and how Pentious becomes the first redeemed sinner at the very end, so you couldn't really write Vox out of S1 like you can Lute with S2.

Dislikes:
-Enough has been said about how Charlie is a fucking idiot this season, while it does serve as her arc and she gives management duties over to Vaggie, they could have done this arc significantly better if it was more subtle and she wasn't completely stupid for almost the entire season.
-Vaggie's name change is so stupid and pointless, especially with it being forgotten about after the first episode until the very end, I'm not even going to bother with it.
-Baxter is extremely underutilized, and his betrayal of Voxtek is treated as a joke when it should be a serious character moment, before his betrayal his only scene of significance outside his introduction is providing exposition of how he knows Pentious to Cherri. Get they're working with a bit of a restrictive runtime but it's not like he needed his own episode, musicals have a unique advantage of being able to get away with having extremely quick character development through a single song, so a two minute or so solo song of him panicking over the cataclysmic consequences of what a war with Heaven might mean and use that as his reasoning would been infinitely better. I did find him a fun character in the finale when he finally did something though.

Overall the season is better and enjoyable even if there's still a ton of issues that drag it down, someone who can turn their brain off would like it a lot more, probably a 6 but I can see why some would give it a 7 given standards aren't all that high anymore. I can't say I'm optimistic though S3 is mainly going to concern Angel Dust and Husk who I don't give a shit about, and also can't say I'm excited for Alastor's villain arc either. With this being confirmed to be a 5 season show, with how many backstories and underdeveloped plot threads that left to be explored outside of what I listed and what's up with Lilith, when season 5 will probably be exclusively about Roo without much room for those, I feel a lot of them are going to be very rushed in the next two seasons and the quality will suffer as a result. Plus, with how much Borle as Vox carried this, I won't be surprised if this ends up being the best season of the show.
