Carmilla's daughters continue to be voiceless props. Hard to believe the catalyst for this whole plot was her killing an Exorcist because of how much she totally loves them uwu when they have the personalities of cardboard.

Honestly, they could have just used that since Val owns Angels soul, they could have used how he has some control over the spider, maybe that he can threaten to destroy his soul entirely
 
The lyrics to the Chaggie song were absolute ass. You can tell how little they give a shit about this pairing when half the words are just the chorus being repeated over and over.

Also, a question for the series: what would happen if someone would commit a terrorist act in Hell? Would there be a law enforcement agency to... I don't know, act against that? Or just the Deadly Sins to combat it in case it got near them?
 
So these two episodes have probably been the best ones in this show. Everyone is just handing Vox easy wins. And it's also nice to see him call out on other people's shit. Granted, it's pretty obvious that his ego and Alastor egging it on is going to be his downfall. Which I don't mind that being the case. It's fitting for his character.

It was also satisfying to see Charlie finally being called out by Vaggie as well, and Charlie coming to the realization of "oh shit, maybe I should listen to the people that I supposedly care for instead of being in my own head all the time". It took her long enough. Let's hope she remembers what she learned for next season.

I also don't mind the whole twist of Angel Dust having been secretly hypnotized to give info to Vox.* As someone mentioned before, it probably would have been more interesting if it was at his own accord since it would have given Angel more agency. But that's just my opinion. It does make more sense now on why he leave the hotel now since this has being ongoing instead of happening just this one time. I guess the hypnosis must have happened after Sir Pentious joined the hotel.

The whole Lucifer thing is...confusing. I understand he can't just outright permanently kill sinners, and I kind of already figured that out. But can he not harm them...like at all? Cause he was able to do that to Adam.

Anyway, yeah. These episodes weren't so bad. I guess when the bar has been lowered to where as long I'm not annoyed or find anything so egregious, I find the episodes to be fine. I'm sure after sitting on it for a couple of days, something will pop up in my head and I'll change my mind.

Also, interesting how Vox went to every major overlord except Rosie. Suspicious.

*I forgot to mention that Angel being hypnotized could have been foreshadowed much better, but this is Viv we're talking about.

I had to pause my watch through of the new eps and come here.

Vox says, "Make Hell great again," word-for-word and Vivzie is worried about viewers comparing him to Trump? Is she stupid?
