I have to say, I appreciated how much of a bastard he was in that episode. I was worried they were going to turn it around into some tragic woobified backstory. Unless he has an ulterior motive, he just loved doing evil shit so much that he summoned a demon from Hell to ensure that he can keep doing evil shit when he's dead, kek. Laughing in his "pal"'s face and making him cry was the cherry on top, he just loves being an asshole.I kinda hate this show but the one thing I do appreciate is they did show how truly manipulative and charming Alastor is and that he's probably always been that way.
Ah the "it was 95% her idea and he wants to kill himself" special. Very nice.and that the breakup was mutual and the two are still on good terms.
He was literally turned into a buck and then broken. His punishment in Hell is being a prey animal AND a white woman's slave, bravo Vivzie.
It would have been hilarious if Alastor acted liked Uncle Ramus from Song of The South whenever he's around Rosie. But they'll still have a musical number about a white woman singing how a mixed-black man is her pet and belongs in her zoo.
Because GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. Tbh the musical numbers are about the only occasionally good thing about the show any more.Catching up, why does this show have musicals in-universe? Songs are usually for a one-off joke or have an episode dedicated to singing/singing character(s). Just imagine you're in Hell and every single day while you're being an asshole on a mundane day, someone suddenly breaks into song and nobody acknowledges it.
The titles and singers of the next episodes songs.

Episode 5 is going to dominated by Vox and Love in a bottle will be a Husk and Velvette song which is a strange combination.
Because... it's a musical? Both shows always have been, but especially HH.Catching up, why does this show have musicals in-universe? wasn't really dunking on it this time, I just wonder if there was actually an in-universe reason other Viv admitting she wanted big name Broadway names in the cast without acknowledging all these people will burn a huge hole in her pockets.Because... it's a musical? Lots of reasons to dunk on this series but this is a weird one lol. Most musicals don't acknowledge in character that everyone is singing and when they do it is often a fourth wall break. Just part of the genre.
Because Vivzie is a Broadway fangirl, and turning Hazbin into a musical is just another change from the pilot she made.Catching up, why does this show have musicals in-universe? Literally in the pilot. And Charlie's song was most known by legendary gay icon Judy Garland's version of it.Because... it's a musical? Both shows always have been, but especially HH.
Huskvette shipping dropped. It is RIGHTEOUS because not only is hetero, but between two people who were of the same race.Wow, three Vox songs in a row and then a Husk/Vel song about love? Vel is the producer of love potions. Huskerdust fans going to go fucking nuts with that one I bet.

I could understand it in a historical sense if they kept it like their eras (but we all know Rosie is Lilith so it doesnt work here.) Having them call Alastor a pet, or belittling him because od the era they died in makes sense or even Pentious (188But they'll still have a musical number about a white woman singing how a mixed-black man is her pet and belongs in her zoo.
You know how attempting to be very "forward thinking" and make things "like the way certain ethnicities think"? Well, that's how wokies tend to act, and come across as racist. The best example would be the Spiderman skin for Miles Morales, where it's basically Nike shoes and a jogger suit.I could understand it in a historical sense if they kept it like their eras (but we all know Rosie is Lilith so it doesnt work here.) Having them call Alastor a pet, or belittling him because if the era they died in makes sense. And could be very interesting, as well as highlighting the injustices black folks experienced. But with the world building and everyone adapting to "hip" current era this just makes it come off as tone deaf. And circles back to being actually racist instead of criticizing or highlighting the history.
Viv has been hyping up episode 5 as of late, and the main thing we know from the leaks is that it will revolve around Vox consulting with other Overlords, finally putting his wider plans into motion, and Heaven will get pissed off about how uppity the sinners are getting. Vox has been carrying a lot of this season so I'm happy he's getting a dedicated episode.Wow, three Vox songs in a row and then a Husk/Vel song about love? Vel is the producer of love potions. I feel like they're going to fuck up Vox, which is hard as they already fucked him up with how much potential he had.Viv has been hyping up episode 5 as of late, and the main thing we know from the leaks is that it will revolve around Vox consulting with other Overlords, finally putting his wider plans into motion, and Heaven will get pissed off about how uppity the sinners are getting. The Husk and Vel song also features Niffty's and Cherri's VAs, and with it being the same episode as the Charlie and Vaggie song, safe to say a large amount of the episode is going to be very cringe worthy shipping fuel.
No Liz Callaway. Why even live? The titles and singers of the next episodes songs.

Lust is one of the seven deadly sins, man.The show at this point has become incestuous with the amount of shipping they all have. No one can just have a regular relationship, hell Alastor might as well be shipped that the seat Vox tied him to.
