Blame all the people ranting that Alastor being white made him using voodoo extremely problematic, thus leading to him being “half creole”, which is also stupid.

We can assume that Alastor specifically targeted people who'd spite him, even if it was minor or completely on accident.
Does this mean Al's whole serial killer thing was him just having nigga moments?

Going back to something I and a few other people here called, the Cherri and Pentious subplot in the third episode is barely one, there's a single scene that mainly serves to lead up to the next one, and the scene of real substance is just Cherri learning from Baxter about Pentious' backstory with him (They were partners until Pentious decided to leave and take the eggs with him because he didn't like the experiments Baxter was running on them, who created them in the first place.), then the song happens, and we don't see Cherri again until the very end where she tells Angel she's staying at the hotel, we learn nothing about Cherri as a character, or even anything else about their rivalry outside the song.
Their relationship is non-existent.

>Angels do a yearly extermination (for the past 7 years, unbeknownst to Charlie, who thinks it's been millennia apparently)
>Adam calls in. The last extermination was a week ago; Adam states that the next extermination has been moved up to 6 months
>[All of Season 1 magically happens in this time frame somehow]
>Angels defeated, Adam dead, Hazbin Hotel is rebuilt by Lucifer and the gang
>Media takes notice of angels being murdered and falsely advertises the hotel as the go-to place for angel murdering
>We get to see the immediate effects of this as sinners start booking rooms en masse for all the wrong reasons
>(Nobody has even thought to notify Hell or Charlie that exterminations are no longer happening, by the way)
>Alastor visits Rosie to demand that she funnels him more power and he states it's been a YEAR since he offered to help with the hotel

Sorry, what the fuck happened for six months? Do you mean to tell me that the signup of sinners to the hotel was a slow and gradual process, a stark contrast to how the rest of the show chronicles its events? Isn't Hell overpopulated, surely it would make more sense if this was a direct continuation from S1's ending and not SIX MONTHS OF NOTHING AFTER? Did the characters change at all during this time frame? Why don't we get to explore what happened in those six months? Heaven hasn't notified ANYBODY in Hell that exterminations are over, so how has an entire year blown past without anyone freaking out? What the fuck is going on anymore?

>loses once
>forced to sit in the cuck chair
Honestly I hope Alastor just never turns this around and is just a fraud forever, I have zero reason to root for him whatsoever.

Wait, his sin is murder? I thought it was sodomy based on everything Vivzie showed us.
Yeah, expect it to have been 100% justified though. It can’t be sodomy, because if that’s the sin he’d have to stop doing it, and fujos can’t have that.

Three possibilities:
  1. His father was indirectly responsible for his sister's death, and he killed him in a rage.
  2. His father tried to force him to do some mob shit that he didn't want to do, and he killed him to avoid it.
  3. His father was homophobic, and he killed him to protect his lover.

So, let's get this straight. Alastor and Vox rack up enough bodies to fill swimming pools and thus end up in hell for their actions, Pentious ends up because he didn't report a murder (which would equal jack'n'shit because England back then was elitist as fuck) and Angel reason for being here is because he plugged his old man, ignoring that being a son of a Mob Boss, he probably had to get his hands dirty in the family stuff a lot. Methinks there's a veeery weird imbalance in this shit kids.

Probably Heaven will notify Hell next, judging by trailers where Sera and Emily went to Hell

Yeeeah, Pentious' backstory wasn't thought of. But hey, maybe it's also allegory on how the worst peopme get in power, or smth

It's almost like he wasn't supposed to be part of the main character group. Especially since behavior in Hell goes against his backstory. Seriously, everything about the guy points out he should have been one of those child slave owning factory bosses, who probably invented crazy weapons and palled around with the East Indies company as means of testing them.

Somehow I keep finding bangers.
