I just had an autism moment. So, I was conversing with people about the progress of humanity and how we transitioned from kings having all the power (“NO KINGS NO KINGS WAH WAH WAH COMMUNISM GOOD much?) to the merchant class being able to have more power than expected (business and finance niggas). Basically, it went that merchants were actually seen as lowly and doing the grunt work moving place to place to sell things, until in Florence, the Medicis managed to play a part in making the finance and banking world prosper through trade. Soon, the Industrial Revolution took place and this advanced further (which makes all the commies bitch and moan over how bad and evil everyone is)

Then, it hit me. Instead of the retarded shit Vivziepop is doing in Helluva Boss with sad fujoshi sob stories - like, come on, dude, I don’t even hear a lot about that show anymore - why not she make it that the Imps become the “merchant class” of Hell’s commoners? Blitzo is the one who spearheads the merchant niggas once he fixes himself and actually becomes useful and productive in his life while enjoying Goetia-tier benefits like Rothschilds enjoying noble-esque status when they started out as Jews in a ghetto trading goods small time.

Thing is, I suspect Viv is avoiding hurting the poow innocent feelings of da commies because making Blitzo a rich asshole like da evil billionaire (when they’re in hell and are supposed to be shitty people in the first place) will ruin DA NARRATIVE MUH ADVOCACY of EAT DA RICH BILLIONAIRE BAD GIVE ME MONEY I NEVER EARNED BECAUSE I STUDIED THEATER IN COLLEGE! Nah seriously, I’ve seen some niggas cry and bitch about how “bad” Vivziepop has become ever since she went corporate and she’s “become the thing she hated.” Hahaha. As if she cared about us. Nigga Helluva Boss is in the shit and IT IS INDIE. What CORPORATE BAD are those clowns crying about?

(Note: I could be wrong about some things, so feel free to add or correct me. I just found it interesting because Imps are just grunt work and literally Striker and Crimson say it’s rare for imps to keep a running business and actually shake Blitzo’s hand - there’s a kindered spirit there. If I were a merchant who managed to transition from selling lame porcelain while sweating in the street on a donkey to a big-time banker who can boss her subordinates around, you bet your ass I’d be so impressed and empowered seeing another merchant do similar. Viv, where’s the creativity?)

Mr. Frog doing what we all want to do when most of the Hazbin characters start singing.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=TvaylQCfmp8
Pim’s off-key optimism song is better than 80% of the songs in Hazbin hotel.

Also, couldn’t quote the poster for some reason but that scene of Sir Pentious being a normal good person who’s genuinely complimenting Cherri is ruined by that cum-addict faggot angel dust having to bring up that dick stuff. You can’t even enjoy a genuinely heartfelt scene in the show because it almost always gets ruined prematurely. I think part of the show’s problem is it has zero idea what tone it wants to be.

P.S. how would angel even know that?

Some faggy Hazbin comic someone made.

So Good and Evil are actual characters. I guess I should have figured that out in the introduction to this show since we see their silhouettes.View attachment 8126585
This just makes the lore more convoluted. So there is not one but two "deities" where one is good and one is evil? Yet we were introduced to the Speaker of God and this series, along with Helluva, takes so much from Christianity. Why not just create a fantasy world with Christian allegories thrown in like The Chronicles of Narnia?

What if it's some funky Gnostic idea where both "Good" and "Evil" are both technically God.

One is just the demiurge.

Can't wait for evil to be chill and a nice dude who will be good to Charlie and Good to be a hypocrite who hates "gays and shit".
lol, I hope something interesting fucking happens.

She could create a world from scratch. It would have looked much, much better. Imagine that - more possibilities!
But no, lets just dance around.

Because that would be smart, and Viv seems to be deathly allergic to anything that may benefit her franchise.

I unironically love the Narnia books ever since I read them as a kid, and I've only appreciated them more as I got older. If HH was half as creative, witty, or deep, as the Chronicles, I would consider it fantastic. I feel like most people only think of the movies from '05 to '10 (or the BBC miniseries from the late 80's) because I feel like so many people just think of it as "those books with 'Lion-Jesus'" which I think is a damn shame. I just want to share a few lines I loved, spoiled them for length, and I suppose actual spoilers, but the books are like 70 years old now.

“Alas," said Aslan, shaking his head. "It will. Things always work according to their nature. She has won her heart's desire; she has unwearying strength and endless days like a goddess. But length of days with an evil heart is only length of misery and already she begins to know it. All get what they want; they do not always like it.”
-The Magician's Nephew

“For in Calormen, story-telling (whether the stories are true or made up) is a thing you're taught, just as English boys and girls are taught essay-writing. The difference is that people want to hear the stories, whereas I never heard of anyone who wanted to read the essays.”
-The Horse and His Boy

Aravis also had many quarrels (and, I’m afraid, even fights) with Cor, but they always made it up again: so that years later, when they were grown up, they were so used to quarreling and making up again that they got married so as to go on doing it more conveniently.
-The Horse and His Boy

“You come of the Lord Adam and the Lady Eve," said Aslan. "And that is both honour enough to erect the head of the poorest beggar, and shame enough to bow the shoulders of the greatest emperor on earth. Be content.”
-Prince Caspian

“I fell at [Aslan's] feet and thought, Surely this is the hour of death, for the Lion (who is worthy of all honor) will know that I have served Tash all my days and not him. Nevertheless, it is better to see the Lion and die than to be [Emperor] of the world and live and not to have seen him. But the Glorious One bent down his golden head and touched my forehead with his tongue and said, Son, thou art welcome. But I said, Alas, Lord, I am no son of thine but the servant of Tash. He answered, Child, all the service thou hast done to Tash, I account as service done to me. Then by reasons of my great desire for wisdom and understanding, I overcame my fear and questioned the Glorious One and said, Lord, is it then true, as the Ape said, that thou and Tash are one? The Lion growled so that the earth shook (but his wrath was not against me) and said, It is false. Not because he and I are one, but because we are opposites, I take to me the services which thou hast done to him. For I and he are of such different kinds that no service which is vile can be done to me, and none which is not vile can be done to him. Therefore if any man swear by Tash and keep his oath for the oath’s sake, it is by me that he has truly sworn, though he know it not, and it is I who reward him. And if any man do a cruelty in my name, then, though he says the name Aslan, it is Tash whom he serves and by Tash his deed is accepted. Dost thou understand, Child? I said, Lord, thou knowest how much I understand. But I said also (for the truth constrained me), Yet I have been seeking Tash all my days. Beloved, said the Glorious One, unless thy desire had been for me thou wouldst not have sought so long and so truly. For all find what they truly seek.”

Viv's a millennial. As we all know millennials fear hard work above all else. We're more likely to get a heterosexual couple in her shows before Viv would attempt a clever allegory.
