Here's that leaked human Alastor shirt for anyone who cares.

Looks like they ultimately decided against the faggoty mustache, thank God.

So in the slapping montage gag with Val, I just noticed that the last shot used the scene from when Angel Dust stood up to Val in episode 6 of least season. Screenshot_20251102_081644_Gallery.jpg
I guess at least they didn't add the scene of Val's smack on Angel in episode 4 that left a mark in this, but I feel like this is even more proof that the team behind this don't take Angel's abuse seriously. Also apparently, Val slapped Niffty too in this scene.*

And, yeah I take back my statement that episode 1 was animated decently. They somehow made Val's arm be as flat as paper.

*Okay I was wrong about Niffty getting slapped when I looked at the shot frame by frame. But it did make me realize that you can get away with a lot in a single quick shot without the average eye noticing.

These four frames happen right after each other wirh nothing in between them btw.

Meet the worst critique video of Vivziepop yet. Not necessarily the critisicm itself, but the way it is presented is just pure trash. Uninspiring, boring video, with a tone like dude sniffs his own farts because "aa, how Le Eleqant" he is. And as a final nail, "RISE OF FASCISM IN US AA!1!"

(My reaction as eastern european hearing americunts whine about economy, how bad gays have it there, and right wing ideologies)

I saw this vid on...Heaven Forbid, Reddit, but fuck having account on that website, so decided to post my thoughts here.
I'm sorry for the amount of time you wasted. The José Mourinho reaction is very apt.

He looks gay lol (how apt).

Vox is a better and more accurate Satan figure than Lucifer himself. He actually does the "lure people in with false promises of pleasure from sin" thing and tries to rise up against heaven, casting judgement upon God and trying to usurp him. I am much more invested in xim failing than the hotel succeeding.

Edit: The Lute song was awesome TDD. Also calling that Luce kills Vaggie the traitor, it's so obvious.

The only two ongoing shows I'm currently keeping up with at the moment are South Park and Hazbin Hotel. Hazbin is definitely better than South Park's current season, but that's not a very high bar to pass. I don't think it's award-winning entertainment by any means, but it works as a silly musical cartoon (albeit with a terrible tranny fanbase).

I do think it's a bit of a dumb plot premise though, since the entire point of Jesus existing in Christianity is to redeem sinners already, but then again, I don't know if there's any religious basis for escaping Hell once you've already died and are there. I know Jesus will never make an appearance in the Hellaverse, because it'd be too controversial and throw the whole plot into question, but it'd be hilarious if he did.

With Adam's son, Abel, being a character in Season 2, I wonder if that means we'll see Cain too. Cain must be a powerful demon of some kind. The fact we haven't seen him already makes me feel like he may play a part later in the season.

I feel like I've seen a fan design that looks exactly like this before. But there's also not that much variation I guess when creating a generic "tumblr sexyman" character.

This show's merch is so lame
It is pretty awful, but I think that applies to most of Hot Topic's products. Most of Hot Topic's products are T-Shirts with stock official artwork from a franchise on them that do not look flattering whatsoever and that only a severe autist would wear in public. They made Halloween costumes of the characters that also look like shit:

I doubt its intentional, but it is interesting how there are like four satanic figures within the Hellaverse.

Lucifer is some jaded guy who has been around for a long period of time that is disappointed with how humanity turned out with free will, only bothering to get involved because of his daughter.

Vox meanwhile is a young ambitious person who craves power and is desperate for more with his young age (in comparison to Lucifer and other Overlords) where he desires heaven because he used to be a televangelist in life which made him desire the pearly gates he once preached about going to.

Then there's Alastor and Satan who the former is just like Vox but embraces old traditions in wanting to be the most powerful while Satan represents the idea of the Prosecutor Satan and upholding a rather classist status quo within Hell.

Of course I doubt Vivzie intended this since her shows feel like they are catered for the types of people who make animatics with their OCs and such

She only cares about hanging about with known people and having goon sessions with her headcanons that she can't have on the show (that would be fucking stupid). However, probably she likes some OCs that other artists make and whatnot.
The story comes along later.

Reminds me of a sort of opposite idea. In Christian tradition there's a concept called the threefold office of Christ, in essence, Christ has 3 roles, the roles being Priest, Prophet, and King. In the Jewish context, people who are given these roles are anointed, and Christ (which literally means the anointed one) is the ultimate fulfillment of all 3 roles. And occasionally in Christian or Christian-adjacement works, you'll see this pattern emerge. Famously, in Lord of the Rings.

Aaragorn is most obviously the Kingly role, for the most obvious reason, he's a king, and while he's incredibly humble, he still has a right to rule, which he never allows to be contested. He's able to rule over the armies of the dead, by their oath, yet is just and releases them from the oath when it is fulfilled, despite the fact that its disadvantageous.

Gandalf is symbolic of Christ's Prophetic role, where he is both (effectively) a miracle worker, but also privy to knowledge that is known only to Eru Illuvatar (basically God) and the Valar (lesser gods). Much like Christ (Before Abraham was, I am), Gandalf existed before the vast majority of the World of Middle Earth. "‘I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the flame of Anor. You cannot pass.'”

Frodo represents the Priestly role of Christ, he's called on to sacrifice on behalf of the people in his care. He'll go through hell on Earth to destroy the ring and bring peace to Middle Earth, even though it nearly costs him his life, and means that he ultimately cannot return to the home he gave everything to save.

Each of them also have moments of symbolic Death and Rebirth.

No, this doesn't really have much to do with HH. I'm just a sperg and I love LotR and Theology.

Is he meant to be a televangelist or just a generic cult leader? It's true cult leaders have twisted Christianity for their own means (see Jim Jones), but has been established that's the direction they are going with Vox?
>Lilith is "iconic"
The way this character is being hyped makes it sound like she is the real main character instead of her idiotic daughter. And so much for giving Lucifer/Lilith a Gomez/Morticia dynamic if the only Lucifer's only personality is being a doofus king while Lilith is the real power behind the throne.

Lucifer is possibly my least favorite character in Hazbin Hotel but there's a lot of competition. They turned Lucifer (an actual religious figure) into a quirkchungus millennial who is #depressed and loves le rubber duckiez xD
I'm not even religious and I felt embarrassed watching any scene with him in it.

I remember that was at least a fanon thing that I must've mistaken for canon. I do know he died in the 1950s and the character is very likely an American. So it is very likely must've used Christianity as part of his cult tactics given his desire for Heaven would only really make sense if he was a Jim Jones style cult leader as he does seem to like the heavenly aesthetic based on how he sings about wanting pearly gates in his tower and the trailer showing him wearing an all white suit.

Theory below that is slightly related and based on leaks.

Given leaks and Vivzie's panic about Orange Man comparisons, I think Vox just takes control from Sera because he scams his way to make himself look redeemed to the other heavenly higher ups who were fed up with Sera

honestly wonder how is hazbin hotel so popular in japan(?) other than visually colorful characters.
Perhaps it has a really good dub?

Also, apparently it's thing in Japan where Christian symbology and myth is extremely popular and considered cool aesthetically, even if they don't fully understand the full meaning and nuances behind it (oddly enough, the same can be said of American anime fans and their love of stories focused on demons and spirits and other elements from the Shinto religion).
