Is he meant to be a televangelist or just a generic cult leader? It's true cult leaders have twisted Christianity for their own means (see Jim Jones), but has been established that's the direction they are going with Vox?

>Lilith is "iconic"
The way this character is being hyped makes it sound like she is the real main character instead of her idiotic daughter. And so much for giving Lucifer/Lilith a Gomez/Morticia dynamic if the only Lucifer's only personality is being a doofus king while Lilith is the real power behind the throne.
Most hyped character is not Lilith. It is a Roo.

Roo is more powerful than whatever seven deadly sins can do together. Because of a fact she is basically "root of all evil" in both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel verse.

^ Only official artwork we have so far but Roo has appeared for split second in Season 1 introduction to Hell's story voiced by Charlie. At least it is what people theorize to be.

Apperently Roo on the right :)

With Adam's son, Abel, being a character in Season 2, I wonder if that means we'll see Cain too. Cain must be a powerful demon of some kind. The fact we haven't seen him already makes me feel like he may play a part later in the season.
There's this theory that Cain is Zestial due to the fact that he's the oldest Overlord who's considered ancient by even Alastor, makes Sinners panic upon sight, and a couple theorists are saying his hat resembles ones worn by farmers from older times, which was Cain's occupation.
I'm neutral on whether this theory turns out to be true or if it even makes sense to begin with. Given how many characters this show already has, it'll make things easier to have Cain be incorporated as a preexisting character rather than be a brand new one, and it could expand on Zestial beyond "retired legend" and "Carmilla's boo".
Reasons those who don't think this theory holds water give include how unmarketable it'll be for one of Adam's sons to look nothing like the other, the lack of buildup, and the absurdity of it all, especially if they do go with "Rosie=Lilith, Lilith=Eve".
And I guess Zestial has a last name apparently. Link above is the only source of it. It's Morde, German for murders.

This guy got early access to the entire season and dropped a lot of "hints" about what's to come.
TL;DW: Either Al or Vox was a bully to the other in the past. Probably Al, since it would explain why Vox has such a hateboner for him.
Val gets big sad when Vox starts focusing his attention away from him and Vel and onto Al and his plans to conquer Heaven.
Vel gets her head shaved in the climax.

Given leaks and Vivzie's panic about Orange Man comparisons, I think Vox just takes control from Sera because he scams his way to make himself look redeemed to the other heavenly higher ups who were fed up with Sera
I will actually laugh for the first time in this series if Vox is the one that makes heaven holy again™

honestly wonder how is hazbin hotel so popular in japan(?) other than visually colorful characters.
For the same reason people in the west love anime, Japanese tend to like this type of stuff because is distinctly American and quite different to what they normally watch.

I've seen some fans doing the Gomez and Morticia treatment to Lucifer and Eve. I guess I can see it, eh? But honestly, not really.
Perhaps it has a really good dub?

Also, apparently it's thing in Japan where Christian symbology and myth is extremely popular and considered cool aesthetically, even if they don't fully understand the full meaning and nuances behind it (oddly enough, the same can be said of American anime fans and their love of stories focused on demons and spirits and other elements from the Shinto religion).
Well, that series with Shin Megami Tensei which has "Yahweh" (the name of God) as the enemy. So you are correct.

I don't think so either. Cain could be the spawn of "Eve" and her protector (or simp). If this happens, Seth needs to show up and be Adam #2, his name is pretty much "replacement" (for Abel).

As long as it's not Vox had having a crush on Alastor, because I do not want to see that trope again after what happened with Blitzø and Fizz. I would be lying if I wasn't a little bit interested on the relationship of Vox and Alastor in the past, though I am keeping my intentions low.

Oh yeah, and I guess Val and Vel will do shit or something.

For as much as "Gravity" has been talked up, the way the Speaker hits the word "Cross" on this line is legit probably the best singing performance in the series so far.
Untitled video - Made with Clipchamp.mp4
It's Liz Callaway. What do you expect?

It's also her first major speaking role in an animated production. I would be exceptionally surprised if the twist is that the speaker of God is evil. She simply doesn't have the acting voice for it. It's too soft and gentle to be aggressive.

Currently phoneposting, or I'd upload a local archive, but I'm glad we can finally thank Amazon for saving everyone the time and finally just leaking this show themselves.

At this point I almost feel like a bunch of the leaks and fuckups in the past month or so are actually guerilla marketing, because holy fuck Occam's razor is getting stretched.
