Because that's exactly how Viv sees them, she's outright compared Valentino to a high school mean girl. Which is hilariously ironic considering what former employees have said about her.
 
There's something so funny about people caring more about the lives of cannibals, serial killers, and rapists than the lives of those who were made to kill said people. Especially when these same people wish death on those types everyday in real life, including people who are way less worse than that. At least be consistent with your standings.

The "heaven has corruption and plans to kill people and demons have to save tha worl" shit has already been done before, and done better.

They're just turning Hazbin into the tumblrified version of the hit ps2 rpg "Disgaea" with less of the quirky humor and more badly written melodrama and rushed stakes. Just replace anime teenagers and penguins with fosters rejects and furry OCs and you've basically got the recipe. Both main characters even got "human on mothers side" which is weirder with this subversion fromt he initial pitch of dysfunctional demon rehab show with musical numbers.

EDIT: oh god I just realized making alastor an edgelord makes it even more like it too if you swap his personality with the angel girl character from the main three characters (who also has hair like charlie while alastor has weird horn-like hair like disgaea protag kid FUCK I KEEP NOOTICING)

Alastor is just the epitome of a tryhard. The most we've seen is him interrupting Vox's musical number in Episode 2 and killing some jobber sharks.
For all the talk of how powerful he used to be, the guy hasn't done shit to prove it, especially since the leaks confirm that most of his strength is just on loan from Rosie.

People like alastor solely because of the pilot where he's actually scary powerful but cheery and loving his life of tormenting and killing the damned and acts like a charasmatic old timey radio host. I don't know what the fuck they were thinking doing what they did with him (yes I know it was likely for more melodrama but still fuck man)

I like the idea of both Alastor and Vox being sort of skeuomorphic versions of the apparatuses that were used in the past to convey their media. Video killed the radio star but even video of the TV era is currently dying (and in this show in Hell).

Sorry, I know i will sound very cheesy, but jesus fucking christ these people have no fucking soul, not one inch in their entire bodies. The song is about grief and revenge, that single line holds SO much power also from a romantic perspective AND THEY CANT TAKE IT. Why? Because they can't somehow separate their political takes and interpretations from the story, they won't solely appreciate a character showing some sort of development and on top of everything they will seethe about the fact that, potentially the best song of the show is about a woman grieving the loss of a man she loved (OU NOU THE HETERONORMS), which is also the song that will probably open up to the plot development. Of course we are not talking about the "best" characters in the show, the good or bad guys, who gives a shit at the end of the day. As twisted and/or "wrong" as it might have been, it was a relationship and this song is good at conveying the message.

Exactly. The people they want us to sympathize with have done horrific things while alive and Charlie doesn’t care about it. She doesn’t even seem to understand basic morality and one thing I would ask her is do the victims of the people that she is trying to get into heaven’s traumas and feelings not matter?

He's not even that misogynistic. I'm trying to recall from my brain what insulting thing he has said in regards to women, but all I can think of is when he complained that some girl wanted to fuck a drummer instead of him. That's not him being a misogynist; that's him being a douche.

But yeah, maybe I'm forgetting things, but does Adam make any crude/sexual remarks towards women? I know about him naming Vaggie, but he never made any remarks about her body personally. He said he was one of his top girls, probably in regards to how many Sinners she has killed.

I don't think that anyone is that confused by what is good and bad behavior, especially since HH's Heaven and Hell seem to have no regard for concepts like faith & orthodoxy, and only consider morality as the very minimalist beige, "just, be like a nice person, man". For those who can't manage such a low bar, I'm afraid that we must forever part ways, because morality, even this beige knock-off Christian morality, should not be this weak and watery.

Christianity, which this series is happy to bastardize, does not consider baseline humanity to be good. "So you also, when you have done everything commanded of you, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.'" from the Gospel according to Luke, Jesus tells us, that doing good is the bare minimum, when we sin we're walking away from that, and even if we lived perfectly, that would simply be what was expected, not laudable. I get that the series isn't going to go this hard into concepts like that and grace, but wanting the denizens of hell to have a baseline of "not psychotic murder" doesn't seem too hard.
 
Stolas taking antidepressants is so incredibly lame I couldn't believe it at first. He went from "just a sad gay uwu bottom" to "so pathetic it borders on being absurd". Why yes, this 30-something year old ancient demon (from hell) takes antidepressants (again, from hell) as a way to deal with his mean wife and sad gay pining. It's almost as absurd as giving Jesus undiagnosed autism.

Not withstanding the idea that there's a pharmaceutical industry in hell it's just so fanfiction-y and breaks my suspension of disbelief. I wonder if this demon prince gets erectile dysfunction, kidney stones or constipation based on what kind of anti-depressants he takes. Maybe this demon prince also takes something for his cholesterol levels or enlarged prostrate. Who knows? He's such an aura-devoid loser maybe he's also balding and skinny-fat. Make him extra pathetic for the fans, that's his appeal isn't it?
