Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

I'm sorry but why does Loona have an entirely too-human face in this screen cap. Like either make it anime-esque and go all the way with the "wolf" or have your human-faced dog shit actually look like what it's supposed to be. There are too many artists, and nobody can stay consistent or on-model to begin with.
I'd be willing to bet there is porn of Loona more on-model than whatever the fuck this is.

I just realized there's something of a silver lining to her selling out her other fujo hellspawn to Bezos: the fact there will be torrents made of it, therefore no need to even risk giving the YT channel any more of our clicks. I'm pretty sure there's already some compilation of the series on archive.org or something, but still.

I'm aware most of Vivziepop's revenue comes from sources like Amazon, Patreon, merch etc. but I believe she still gets a good bit from YT.

We don't even know how much Stella has apparently "abused" Stolas during their marriage. All we got of their marraige is the day the affair happened that night, and some family photos. Oh and them sleeping together in the same bed. It's really hard to get the full picture. The show says that Stella has just been a complete nightmare to live with all this time, but at the same time will show photographs of the family having a genuine happy moment.

And this ain't a forced smile from Stella. She looks happy; they all look happy in fact. And I doubt Stella is pretending here because the show really wants to hammer in how stupid she is. Stella is not one to hide her true feelings; she's very open about how she feels at the moment. And Octavia doesn't hold any ill-will to her for her supposed perfect family life falling apart. She blames Stolas solely. And I doubt Stella was manipulating Octavia that entire time to be on her side because it shows that Stella doesn't plan things that far ahead for her advantage.

Now I'm sure in season 3 we'll see Stella being a terrible person to Stolas in the past, and softly retcon any sort of nuance about her; but as it is now, the worst thing that Stella did to Stolas before he cheated on her was throw a "not-divorced" party and make some rude comments to her friends about how terrible Stolas is at sex while most likely drunk. On the night when the affair happened. The violent and angry Stella we see now is because of Stolas cheating on her.
Viv already made Stella a complete psycho bitch from day 1 since the S2 opening episode has a picture of Stella as a child strangling small animals, because fuck any sort of nuance.

The retcons with Stella's and Stolas' marriage would be tolerable if it simply boiled down to them being fundamentally incompatible people, and how arranged marriages almost always end in disaster. Since Helluva does touch on themes of Hell's society being fundamentally broken, a rewritten storyline could actually help reinforce this theme by making even members of the upper class miserable because of it instead of just Stolas being sad since Stella is just an evil bitch.
It is funny going back and seeing people disappointed at how Stella turned out. They got accused of being mad that the show didn't turn out like their headcanon but really they're only guilty of having too much faith in Viv.

"Stella is only acting this way because she's mad about the cheating. Vivzie wouldn't possibly make her a crazy bitch 'just because'.." Turns out that's exactly what she did.
You have to wonder what exactly the plan for Stella was at the beginning. She went from someone who was reasonably mad at her husband for cheating on her to a cartoonishly evil supervillain who hates her family and was always born evil.

The moral of the story is that everyone in Hell is some flavor of irredeemably terrible with very VERY rare one-in-a-billion exceptions, and Adam was right.
I was thinking recently about how the demo version of "You Will Be Okay" explicitly references The Book of Revelation and that Stolas believes Octavia will be saved on Judgement Day. "And if the heavens crash aground / I know you'll hear the trumpets sound / and you'll be okay".

Obviously it's just supposed to be a sweet-sounding lyric showing a father's love for his daughter but the idea of an owl demon accepting Jesus Christ into her life and being saved at the End of Days while her pillow-biting dad has to languish in Hell, completely apart from hope or salvation, for eternity is just really funny to me for some reason.

Is Jesus Christ canon in this show? I really hope they don't make a fursona for Him. Even when it's supposed to be a positive "take" it's always the grimiest thing when people do that.

The closest reference would be Blitzo saying, "Christ on a stick, I guess there is a God," in the pilot, but that likely doesn't count according to Viv.

Unless you count the Cherubs saying "Don't say the lords name in vain" in S1...or Mettatron popping up in S2 of Hazbin.

Well we can kind of see perhaps with the Instagram posts that were made after the pilot aired and before the show happened. stolas-used-to-be-the-villain-v0-8yx7gl84heic1.webp

Reminder that these posts were after the pilot so she knows about Stolas having an affair with an imp. We don't know exactly how their marriage was like before the cheating. Except for a couple of beatboards from Loo Loo Land. Beat-board-hb-ep2-12.webp

Granted these were not done by Viv so these were the artist of the beatboards and person behind the Instagram account perception. What we do know is that the direction of Stolas and his relationship with Blitzø was changed after the production for Murder Family was finished. It's why I believe for the Ozzie's episode with Stolas' drastic change of him loving Blitzø instead of just lusting him happened; because that episode wasn't in production yet.

Anyway, it doesn't matter what was shown in the Instagram posts since they're no longer canon. Which means Stolas spending time with his daughter and teaching her spells, and treating Blitzø better and not just a sex toy did not happen.

...

Smart Viv.

Holy shit, man. Holy shit.
Taking this specific part into scrutiny, we now know much of the methodology behind at least most of the poor writing choices in HB/HH: Vivziepop doing the writing equivalent of SEQUENCE BREAKING, just to get the plot/characters where she wants them to be.
this has been an ongoing problem of hers going all the way back to her pre-Hazbin webcomic, Zoophobia.
