I think the songs just weren't well directed in particular, since direction is just as important for singers as it is for actors..
Out for Love has exceptionally bad direction during the chorus. They do the Angels We Have Heard on High thing, where they take a one-syllable word and melismatically draw it out into an entire chord. Only the backing music and vocal direction just make it sound like a Bad Romance ripoff.
I actually find "Out for Love" kind of catchy for some reason but "Whatever it Takes" says it right in the title - whatever. Zestial's part is really good though, short as it is.

Because way back in the pilot days, it was said on some stream that Husk is one of those people that are "any hole is a goal". I think it would be funny if some character tells him that makes him pansexual, and Husk goes like "I don't want to fuck a pan."

And wasn't that one of his projects? Though, I have no idea on what the other projects he promised to make for his fans were supposed to be. If he made no specific promise and just said "support me on whatever money and business platform for me to keep making my cool animations," then he's entitled to animate him and his favorite character in love. Charlie is legal and depicted as consenting and such in the animation, so, again, if he didn't promise anything and that's just money tipped by muh awesome followers, then there's nothing to seethe about.
