I know we've already talk about this here, but I'll say it again: Joker is a multimedia icon that has a 3-dimensional personality. Valentino is part of only one form of media and is just a one-note villain. Also, Joker merch doesn't sexualize him, while Valentino merch does.

I think a discussion could be have on the human psyche of crimes and the tolerance of them in fiction, but a fucking Vivziepop show isn't the place to do it.

You can make the simple assumption of Lolcow Behavior, because Lolcows don't like criticism or need to prove to teh haturrs that they are "receptive" or "understanding" but since this is Viv a beached whale like HopelessPeaches, who claims she's been SA'd and Abused she has to paint the narrative. Viv has openly and repeatedly used/weaponized her abuse/mistreatment to deflect any form of criticism because claiming you were raped is a way to have them back off because Tumblr, Twatter and BlueSky are internet hugboxes that speak of "BELIEEEEEVE all VICTUMS!" but also fall flat without realizing most explanations Viv has given were 50% Addressing and 50% excuses and crying victim.

It would even be consistent with the Catholicism Vivz's Hispanic relatives apparently have that make it impossible for her to offend by taking the ideas she has to their actual conclusion.

Her explanation for speaking out against a fan having a VA sign a screenshot of a critical video, but staying silent when a fan assaulted Michael at a con is "I shouldn't have to tell people that physically assaulting someone is wrong."

I can't get over how condescendng the whole "Happy Pills" joke is. Can't give Stolas a real medical condition because it would make him less sexy(?) so you make it blindingly obvious that he's pretending to be happy. Which is a lie because he's very outwardly angry at Stella, at all times.

It's the law of character relatability – you don't usually see cannibal murderers like Alastor out on the street, but degenerate rapists like Valentino absolutely do exist, and statistically speaking, a good portion of the audience would have experience dealing with someone like that – which makes Val easier to hate.
Now this does fall apart when you take the sexy merch into account, but again, I think Vivienne is playing to her audience. Despite the moral outrage, there is an actual undercurrent of fans who fetishize Val.
(Just look at that troon with the rape kink that LARPs as Angel, and is on the show's actual production team)
 
I missed this but the way Vivzie tweeted "Criticism is a two way street" is so funny and really sells how spoiled she is. If your teacher say you did terrible you dont go "Well sure but you're MEAN so i won't listen".

Just like when your consumer shits on your products, you don't go on twitter rationalize on them being bad people.

In my humble opinion the problem isn't Val merch, it's "sexualizing the sex offender" merch.

Alastor is a canibal but there is no fetish poster of him eating organs (afaik?). Stella is racist against imps but there is no custom mug of her referring to imps as hellniggers. Crimson is homophobic but there is no shirt of him calling Moxie a faggot.

So why does vivzie merch has to remind us that Valentino is reaaaally fuckable?

HOW??? The sign is not weird since it was their own video. The thumbnail being creepy is a self report since it is YOUR art (of angel getting gangbanged). The """obvious agenda""" is unclear to me since they didn't elaborate at all beyond being happy the voice actor signed. The posting isn't strange because it's their twitter and they don't owe you anything.

How is vivzie still triggered over something that doesn't affect her at all. If she didn't jump in to attack them no one would've cared or known, but this controversy probably gave the guy more views (It's almost 1 million now).

Ya know, I'll give Gooseworks this, she was much smarter when people got on her ass over Jacks behavior in Ep2. She gave one response, stepped back and things just fizzled out. Viv on the other hand, my gawd this girl just keeps dynamating whatever good will she had left with her fans.

I NEED to be a fly on the wall, observing her daily life. How much work does she personally put into her projects? How often is she traveling? How often is she getting takeout or eating at restaurants? Does she do her own laundry? Does she clean her living space or is she living in squalor? What is her credit card debt like?

Is she just a fat 30-something whose poor health choices are starting to catch up with her, so all she can do is sit around and bitch online and bully people in secret behind the safety of her Discord?
