I hate when writers do this. Give a character a scary trait, like cannibalism but we never actually get to see them chow dow.

Or tell us he's a mobster/gangstar, yet we never see them doing mobster things other then using tommy guns.

Seriously the amount of people coping and saying "Angel dust can be redeemed or he's a decent person" pisses me off, they can't imagine their favorite character is a piece of shit or saying "Adam is the bad guy because Genocide bad."

Like a lot of people said, it kinda depends on what he did while alive. If Viv had any guts she would've given way more hints and substance over what he did, but nope its just Tommy Guns and funny Brooklyn/Italian accents so any idea of what he did comes down to implication and headcanons. And I know @didelphinga brought it up way earlier but the mob was responsible for plenty of awful actions, and realistically Angel Dust would've done his fair share of crimes, otherwise he would've never gotten far as a mobster. Come to think of it, there's no other members of the mafia in the show at all. Yeah, Moxxie's dad is a mobster but he's just an imp; where's Lucky Luciano, John Gotti, Al Capones, or other human born mob figures trying to set up shop in Hell?

Jesus Christ the show is a mess. I feel tempted to do my own rework of the show like what some of the others are doing.

Come to think of it, has Viv or anyone on the staff openly acknowledge him as a mobster post Amazon release? I mean, Angel's siblings made cameos, but in terms of live discussions, it's "HuskerDust this" or "ValxAngel that", but I haven't seen anything where it's outright confirmed his mobster background is still part of his character. Doesn't help that, barring the one image on the top that's taken from his prequel comic, it's nowhere mentioned in his audition sheet-

I swear, as much I enjoyed ADDICT, I seriously hope that didn't end up being a Michelle Marie situation again(Niffty's pilot VA can speak Japanese, and Niffty was made Asian afterwards). Like, effeminacy was always one of Angel's character traits, but after the popularity of ADDICT, Viv seems to have that be his only character trait... Granite, the same could be said about everyone, where their characters have been simplified, but Angel Dust is among the more egregious cases.

About the "My First Time With an Eldeitch Horror" one, is that from an animation of hers or a webcomic? Is it just a silly fun thing she decided to make? It's kinda interesting. It seems like Viv CAN draw eldritch horrors, but instead prefers the sexyman-looking monster boys.
