I don't know how you guys keep track of all these characters not even Legend of the Galactic Heroes was this hard to follow with the amount of characters relevant to the plot.But yeah, I agree that almost everyone acts like recently turned adults. The only one I'd argue that acts his age is Husk. I expect if Crymini (a character that is actually 1ever ends up in the show, she'll act as immature as everyone else. But at least she'll make sense.

Remember, it's not about QUALITY, it's about QUANTITY. Heaven takes issue with Hell's overpopulation because all them demons, no matter their actions, could rise up and threaten the Silver Gates. I mean, there's 6 other rings filled with demons, with the Sinner Ring having an entire city named after Imps, with at least two Goetia palaces, but letting them Hellborns live is all worth... worth... My best guess is that "you shall not kill hellborn" was just a way to make sure that Charlie would never get hurt as result of the exterminations but in his obvious pride he didn't want to admit so openly that he would summit to heaven's demands just to spare his daughter's life so he included all the other hellborn to safe face.

Alot of the talks we discuss is all speculation. Viv never talks about them so anytime someone talks about stuff like this it should be taken as headcannon. And people doing more work than Viv by even making little speculations like these should be credited on writing this dogshit series, as she's most likely will steal your ideas as she's a lurker attention whore.

I suppose not fighting the Exorcists is what his end of the deal was given people speculated that's the reason he didn't join the final battle in "The Show Must Go On" until after Adam attacked Charlie, as it violated their agreement. But why would Lucifer even want to or see the need to fight the Exorcists in the first place? He spends his days hiding in his room making his rubber duckies.
Guess I'd bring up his audition sheet into this, because the way I interpret it is that Lucifer rebelled after humanity's creation, as he got butthurt towards the humans who did horrible things that would send them to Hell, with Lucifer's punishment for his rebellion is to ironically rule the place with the people he loathes. It is commonly theorized that the opening narration in "Overture" is a case of Unreliable Narrator, and that Lucifer will be revealed to be a real piece of shit, but only time will tell ...
EDIT: Please disregard my interpretation of Lucifer based off his audition sheet. All this time I misread the "by" in the "by only seeing the bad humanity does with their lives" as "for". Everything else I said is valid though.

Most of it is built on headcanons. The characters are more 2D then the protags of Harems. To the point the fans use headcanons as the main excuses for why X does Y, Viv has a history of this, most of the people believe that the LGBTQ+ Elements are the problem of the story, but without those the story still will suck, lack of creativity, lack of pacing and lack of character development makes it to where the story is just animated fanfiction among the lines of people like RegretfulReads would read. Viv should've stayed a visual novelist and not a show creator because atp around Hazbin Hotel seems more in line with a Movie (Put together all of Season One in a specific order and you'll get what I am saying.) then a show, and Helluva Boss seems better as a Visual Novel made in R'enpy then a "Black Comedy" it doesn't help that fans of this horrid train wreck seems confident to claim they like the show but back track when people criticize the very thing they make their personality.
TL'DR Hazbin was built on fans suggestions and fandom itself, Viv is a hack, yada yada yada.

I'm likely to believe that the higher-ups told Viv "Hey you got a certain amount of spots for this merch run. You choose who goes in there." And instead of using one of those slots for arguably probably one of the most popular characters in the show she instead decided on...the cannibal that has no interest in love whatsoever...the depressed short twink who's wife left him...and the rapist.

From what I can see, most merch is either in a small location of Hot Topic or just untouched. Hazbin Merch is often cheap and made from Temu Like stores and I won't be surprised if some of that shit ends in a landfill so some Chinese Workers can recycle them. People are once again reporting they are falling apart.

1-If this was true why didnt vivzie bring it up earlier when people complained about Valentino merch?
2-If she really has no control and it's on Amazon then this is even harder to believe because companies are not retarded and know what consumers want better than creators. Amazon would not only sell angel but Husk keychain if not make it a combined one. They would still pick Alastor and Lucifer but no way they'd not pick Angel.
3-Valentino is not the most mainstream friendly guy and the company should know by this point that doing sexy merch of him would lead to outrage.

It's still autistic to still think about, like only someone deranged would try to write a redemption story for someone like Elliot and Columbine types and expect to make it mainstream. Like its for the same reason Valentino is the most hated character among that fandom and the sensitive types, because they would hit too close to home compared to say some dictator or mad scientist.

My guess is that his “sexiness” factor is supposed to make him appealing, since she loves having him dressed like that. But like you said, it just doesn’t work. And honestly, I can’t think of any time I’ve seen people lust over and sexuality an abusive pimp. I don’t think I’ve even seen that in those shitty smut novels that women love to drool over.
