I haven’t been keeping up with Helluva, haven’t seen the latest episode but just seeing a video talking about it, boils down to more “gay melodrama”. Maybe it’s just me but I’m kinda over the whole Blitz and Stolas shit tbh.

The Pride shit is fucking hilarious, Viv really comes off as the “how do you do fellow kids” kinda person, and really feels like she’s trying hard to pander but failing at it.

Don’t really think I’m missing much, it’s probably cope to think it would return to its original premise instead of fujo’s wet dream.

That's what I kind of liked about season 1. There were no "good" or "bad" guys. It was just assholes conflicting with other assholes.

This kind of shows always wind up like this. Next thing you know there's a comic that was supposed to be funny but half the interactions are 'you used me, I might be a war criminal but you breached trust'. Don't you love when the comedy and morals of the show start and end when they benefit the morally grey main cast? Been there, done that.

Also it has good designs and characters such as striker or stella and it hurts me to see them slandered

I think that shitty system is broken. I watched two Sarcastic Chorus videos, and now my main page has been flooded with HH and HB content.

So, I decided to skim through some of the videos people made on the recent HB episode, and... literally all of them have the same exact opinions. It's as if all the HB youtubers and fans have a hive mind.
The only explanation I could come up with is that all the normal fans left in droves after the Stolitz ship took off, and now we're left with crazy and vocal Stolitz yes-men. I don't know how else to explain this phenomenon.

It's the one thing that I worry about with my stories. There's a few that have some "queer" characters (lesbian and/or gay), but I know that these people will want more. It won't be diverse enough for them because I didn't include every sexuality and gender identity that exists nowadays. Or the "representation" wasn't good enough. I'll just ignore them of course. It doesn't mean it won't be annoying though. It's like the only thing they care about; which character is their specific identity that they can relate to.

I just remembered NDAs for VAs were supposed to lift this month right? Has anyone said anything of note yet, for HH or HB?

Besides the call out post I posted a couple of days ago, nothing so far. I'll keep my eye out though.

I can't see the appeal of most of these works, and I unashamedly am attracted to Hazbin Hotel & Helluva Boss because of the mess that is being made over it. Still, I can understand those that were rooting for it. Most independent cartoons and even cable media that are being trademarked seems... eh, mediocre? With few shining examples. Like the creativity is spent unless someone thinks of a really good thing.

People often headcanon Alastor and Rosie as a "Queer Platonic Couple", but they're just close friends. That's it. Nothing deeper. There is no "in between" or "spectrumed" like one of the commenters towards the post said. You're either friends or romantically but non-sexually involved with someone. It's nothing deeper or heteronormative.

And I thought asexuality was the king of mental gymnastics.

Watched the first season with my sister a few days ago. Couldn’t give less of a fuck what Twitter is bitching about regarding the show, frankly it’s one of the most “meh” things I’ve seen in awhile. I liked Alastor and Husk and a couple songs were decent, but the show itself is just so dull as a whole. I really don’t understand what all the fuss is about.

Bashing is fun when what I'm watching really want to bash shit (RWBY). But Vivziepop shows aren't really engendering loathing from me. More simple confusion at how impenetrable it can get thanks to how loose it's playing with its setting and how badly/simplistically it's communicating its wants. Plus it helps that the show looks better than every other TV show this last half-decade.

Yeah, I should've expected. I was half tired when seeing that post so I was a bit autism to not see what the post actually meant.

But to answer your questions, these people don't want straight/normal people. There are many who say they hate seeing straight characters and will make them gay, trans, whatever under the sun to make their own identities feel less of a sham. We can't do anything about it. I learned that long ago from my lurking time around SJW Arts and Extremes. Being straight is lame and gay, but being some flavor of a label is quirky and makes someone feel "different" despite all of them are the same. The only personality they give to a character are their labels.

They hate it when Vivziepop does the exact same things, though. Difference is she's pandering, so they can "justify" getting at her for taking advantage of the queers and not making every character under the sun one of the thousands of random labels only 0.01% the world identifies with.
