Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss Thread - Now a Griefing Thread

You know with the Mayberry x Martha being canon and that whole ordeal, it had made me look back at Mrs. Mayberry as character. And I realized she's a lot worse than I initially thought.

I remember when she shot Martha, Mayberry's husband said "she had a family." So when Mayberry went down to Hell and saw that Martha wasn't dead, she went to IMP to get her assassinated. Even though she now knew that she was a wife and a mother. Granted, they were cannibalistic Satanists, but she had no idea about that. From the outside, they were a happy family (and I'd argue that they did love each other even though they were evil).

People will point out Stella and that Karen sinner are taking away a caring parent from their child/children and that is wrong to do, but no one will say the same thing about Mrs. Mayberry. And now that she is with Martha, she's pretty much doing the same thing that Blitzø is doing with Stolas; taking a parent away from their family.

You'd assume that Vivziepop is into cucking...

To me it more raises a question off "Sooo..where did the husband and the kids go?" If Martha is in hell and banging Mayberry did her husband end up in a different ring of hell and found someone else, did the kids also go to Hell or end up in Heaven because they're like young and can be redeemed?

So since Sinners can't leave the pride ring and it now seems like kids can end up in Hell thanks to that scene of Vaggie sparing what look to be a child, no. The best option I can think of is that because Martha died first and the husband and children died later, they spawned in different places of the ring and just for whatever reason never found each other. Maybe Ralphie and kids got exterminated. But it's more likely that Martha left them to be lesbians with Mayberry because that seems to be the trend in this show; it's okay to cheat as long as it's gay. (I think my headcanon of both couples becoming swingers is more funny.)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but has it been confirmed they're 100% dead? People are speculating that Ralphie and the kids manage to escape before the missile struck their house, so it's possible they're still alive.
Granite, they're not exactly anyone's favorite group of characters, so I doubt we'll get any answers anytime soon.

Its time. Worked on something different, i said this one would be the last one I'd do if I did redesigns just because of the furry aspect. But it really was rattling around my brain because its the worst design and nothing character that has so much fanage for some reason.

Husk

Didn't like the design, the overcrowded amount of themes (Magican, soldier, cat, gambler, alcoholic Russian, bilingual) way too much going on, body type doesn’t fit his previous life, same color scheme, way too much detail that makes my eyes strain seeing the character, and NOT THREATENING he just looks like some basic furry. Also did she ever talk about how the cats killed him? Like that's such a lazy and pussy way to die if I know Viv.

New design

Changed what animal he is he is still a cat but a large cat. A TIGER which is also an animal associated with RUSSIANS. He is specifically inspired by black tigers.
Changed his body type
Changed his colorscheme to make it different then the rest of the gang.
Took his wings (they weren't being used in the show anyways)
Made him look older
He is 8 feet tall
Gave him his old clothes he died in (the tiny bow and his little stage cloak.
He has a beard and mustache that got turned into whiskers and fur.
His design is somewhat inspired by Rasputin.



Storywise

He was a black Russian Magican/ escape artist in the 80's. He was most known for his magic tricks and death defying stunts all with dangerous animals.

The fame and success got to his head which lead him to get a gambling and drinking issue.

When he was drunk he would abuse the animals, whipping them, proding them with with tasers, and forgetting to feed them, and not cleaning their cages. It would give him great pleasure to torture them in sadistic ways. Some of his animals died but he would replace them before the stunts and fans were none the wiser some animals have been replaced over 6 times. All except his star a Tiger.

His animal collection consists of Lions, Bears, Snakes, Spiders and his prized animal who he raised since birth a Tiger.

For him the success of the dangerous animals gave him alot of power and stroked his huge ego. That they were just pawns for his career.

When practicing for one of his most famous stunts being locked in a cage blindfolded and handcuffed with the Tiger. The Tiger starved and tired of their owners abuse had enough of it and ate him alive, the tiger purposely made sure to keep him alive during the whole thing. It only got to his neck so snap it once it ate off all his limbs.

Fully devoured (not even the bones are left) his stage hands come in and check on him only to see a bloated tiger covered leaking in blood in guts because it overate its stomach exploded killing the Tiger as well.

In hell his soul became fused with his darling pet, basically getting a persona of that tiger with his own.This fusion leads to him hating himself as the Tiger hates having to share a body with him.

He rises to be an overlord quickly as his fame and his power came with him. He gains thousands of souls with his charisma. And his magic skills become a real thing down here.

The cycle repeats and his gambling becomes far worse in hell. Leading him to gamble with Alastor. Who gains his soul.

Now working as the bartender he uses the alcohol as a coping mechanism with the Tigers instincts trying to take over. The tigers last moments in life were anger and pain which transfered to him he switches back and forth, but the alcohol keeps him in control. If he doesn’t drink he destroys the hotel and mames other hotel guests. He encourages the hotel guests to drink and drink with him specifically.

He hates this form as he's so strong, he easily breaks bottles and doors when he enters when he sits down on furniture it immediately crumbles.

AngelDust and him don't get together and often fight as AngelDust keeps stealing his liquor, which is what keeps him grounded.

Over the show they would compromise and become eachothers only friend in hell as they would bond over shared vices, and all of the sins they committed in life. Both having a glamorized life filled with riches and power, and that it all was lost by their own selfish ego.

Good god this franchise has become such a sellout that I struggle to think it's gone from pathetic to actually laughably funny.


It really feels like this pride merch run was cooked up cause "orange man is in office again?! why did big corporate masters abandon the poor oppressed gay/trans community?"

And as that meme with Lois griffin points out, ugly people with no skills or personality beyond "I am gay." IS pretty much the only audience Vivian has left. Or at least one who's not watching her material to see how it crashes...like spectators watching two trains speeding towards each other in a controlled collision."

This whole Vivziepop case feels like the story of a decently good artist who was respected in the niche scene while doing what they felt like doing, but then found unexpected success, abandoned all their ties with their roots and turned their art into a profitable system. Very tragic.

So basically, a passion project turned corporate and lost the soul of what made it special. Many such cases.

Yeah, this has been the case for a while. Helluva Boss's merch has been dipping in quality, with their worst run being right before the pride merch when it was a bunch of merch that referenced stuff from season 1. And don't get me started on the stylish occult website. They specifically advertised that merch to be of high quality and that's why it's supposed to be more expensive. But people have pointed at how cheaply made a lot of the stuff is when they get it, with the seams coming apart in some places.

I mean, can you blame em? I actually wanted to get a Collin pin and then Id saw how much it costs for shipping it, plus my country has a customs tax where stuff you buy that aint from the EU gets charged extra (depending on the items rarity and what category it fits).

Sorry for the double-posting, but apparently in a recent Q&A, Morgana Ignis said there's no transphobia in Hell. Now, I believe it's not meaning among Sinners, but hellborn. And at one point, I could see that being the case. But we already got an episode with Moxxie's dad being pretty what I assume homophobic. And Morgana literally said this in regards to last year's Pride poster.

So is it just homophobia that exists with Hellborn and not transphobia? Or is Morgana just pulling shit out of their ass? (Last one most likely)
