@Re(Runner)48 I take it the lovemaking with your versions of Millie and Moxxie is healthy, none of that pegging shit.
Yep. Pretty healthy and also not always forced in the show them fucking.

I feel like it would be a funny joke if Millie being a rough tumble dominant girl. Very prideful and boasts about being strong and Wrathian that nobody can beat her. While Moxxie being a very quiet, calm almost passive and indifferent with most things,. But that she's actually submissive masochist and gets turned on by submitting, while Moxxie would be some kind of dominant role feeling a sense of control that he often doesn't have with her being she's physically stronger than him.
(Which could be a reason why her family thinks she's getting soft, as that's taboo for Wrathians not to brawl with your partner in lovemaking)

But that might be too hetero for this gay show.

Don't care if this is a repost or not, because I think of this constantly.

Faggotry aside, the dead crumpled spider after it got hit is so hilariously accurate. To make it even more accurate to the show:
Untitled2236_20250301030205.png

Back to the serious stuff. I don't like how Angel Dust's face is drawn. Is he always in 3/4 view, like, with a slightly turned head, or that's his cheek being emphasised and somehow the other cheek is not emphasized. It's so asymmetrical and awkward. I was hoping the redesign and the show itself would address that. More specifically, how does his hair look on a full front view? In the Addict music video, it's been shown that Angel does have two cheeks and the way the stupid hair is drawn just makes him look asymmetrical, but he's holding his hair in that scene, so we don't know how his hair really looks like from a complete front view. So fugly.

Ask and you will receive. Viv even states that Angel is suppose to never be shown front view because....

Season....3? Season 2 isn't even out yet, and you're telling me we have to wait one more season to get to "the story you've wanted to tell for years"? THE WHOLE SHOW SHOULD BE "THE STORY YOU'VE WANTED TO TELL FOR YEARS"!
Another one of those "Don't Quote Me On This", but I heard she said she only needed 3 seasons to tell the minimum story. Again, I don't know where I heard this from, this was like before the show got picked up... which, woo, is going 5 years since that happened. The "beginning" could be referring to 2020, could be referring to the days Zoophobia was transitioning into Hazbin, it's anyone's guess. If Season 3 is the season where Roo debuts, then Viv teased her since 2019.

What I hate about Angel Dust is that he's nowhere near as attractive as the story keeps insisting. He's Hell's #1 pornstar but I wouldn't fuck him if you paid me. He's a twig, no curves, very bland face. That Hellhound extra in his episode was much more desirable and she didn't even have an ass. I think it's a case of Viv's kinks overpowering the actual artstyle because Angel is obviously another Tumblr Sexyman like Alastor ergo "hot" but that's totally lost on the viewer.

You know what Sassy the Gay Spider reminds me of? A multi-armed, hermaphroditic, alluring, yet repulsive figure with bright colors?

Feel free to give your thoughts as usual.

All I can say is,

Good lord, you actually did something Vivziepop forgot to establish with the imps—ring-specific appearances. Have anyone noticed all the imps look exactly the same, with only some minor differences? How are we supposed to know if one's from Lust? Greed? Wrath? Gluttony? Sloth? They're all the same and if you told me they were all from either Wrath or Pride, I'd believe you wholeheartedly.

I can look at this version of Moxxie and Millie and go, "Hey, Millie's from Wrath whilst Moxxie's from Greed! Thanks for letting me know!"

Oh, and you gave Millie more personality, characteristics and purpose of character in one message than the entire 5-6 years Vivziepop spent """"""developing"""""" her.

Once again. The bare minimum and Vivziepop fails at it spectacularly.

Keep doing what you doing. I definitely wonder how you'll redesign Octavia if you ever plan to.

Not only is it too straight, there’s also excellent world building in there that gives cultures to the rings, and we certainly can’t have consistent world building and culture in the show.

What makes even less sense is that he can compete in said industry when there are demons that are literally made to be porn stars, hookers and all manner of sexual deviants. In universe, Lust Demons should have a monopoly on this industry. They are literally made to turn people into coomers and gooners How is he employed?

Of all the things shown in this thread, this is the first time I have felt a genuine reaction of disgust.

If Helluva ever cared about actually delivering on worldbuilding, it would have been cool to see how sinners actually deal with the fact that they can't leave the pride ring, like black markets for products made by hellborns and vice versa or even what kind of force keeps them from leaving to the point they are clueless as to what happens in the other rings.

That's the only way I can see AD being popular, because he's the best they have, driving home the theme that they are just prisoners fighting for the scraps.

A thought occurs. If Roo is the one Viv is building to, why not just have her replace Alastor, and then build to the fact that she’ll slowly complete whatever her plan is over the seasons while gaining Charlie’s trust before final season: betrayal, plan comes to fruition, and then final boss?

Perhaps what made the least sense of all is how a man beat women in a contest of how sexually attractive they are to the eyes of other men (because face it, majority of the people watching porn are men).

Well, hey, if there's anything accurate regarding this, it's how trannies are somehow better than the actual women at what they do so we can all sarcastically go "gee I wonder why?"

The answer is simple: Vivzie needs to include her edgy as fuck high school cannibal deer OC.

To be fair, Roo and Alastor are both pretty different villains so it wouldn't really be the same, and given the leaks, Roo is already in Season 1 as the Fake Lilith that Lute is talking to as Roo = Eve = Fake Lilith.

So I'm going to go a bit off topic with what was being discussed of recent but I really want to talk more about Charlie's designs, why the pilot's version will always be superior, and the transitional design between the pilot and what we got in the show:

Charlie_Render.png
First we got the og design; the best design in my opinion. The only thing I would possibly change is making the bottom part of the pants and cheek marks the same color as her jacket. But other than that, it's a good design that tells the audience what kind of character this is. The suit portrays this person as wanting to a leader and taken seriously, but the softer color palette shows that she's not as strict and is more laid-back in her attitude than a typical business person. Her loose pony-tail also shows that as well; again trying to show maturity but is ultimately a free-spirited individual. The round face and big eyes points to someone being child-like and naive. The line work being smooth and rounded shows that this person is positive and has a bubly personality. Even at the areas that are more edged like the elbows and knees, they're still relatively rounded. All in all, it's a great portrayal of Charlie's core personality.

Charlie.withNewcolors.png
The design you see here is the one that I called "transitionary" as this was used in the Addict music video and the Instagram posts the characters used to do. Now the main difference from the pilot's design to this one is losing one button on the pants, the colors are more saturated, and the hair is tied like how show's version. My main complaints are that the colors are more saturated and that small red shading under the bangs. That bright splotch of color makes the eyes naturally be drawn to that area, when it really should be. But other than that, the design still basically portrays the core of what Charlie is as character in the pilot. Even the tied up hair is still puffy and rounded. I also understand why they would want her hair to be tied up in a manner; for it to come more drastically undone when she transforms into her more demon form. If this was what we got in the final show, I would have been completely fine with it, only having some minor nitpicks.

Rendered._Charlie_Morningstar (1).png
And then we get to the final design and...yeah, this one has been discussed immensely why it was a downgrade. So much red. And differing shades of red too. All burning my retinas. Everything is much straighter and stiffer; we lose that expressivenes from the two previous designs. The line art is no longer round and smooth; instead it much sharper and edgier. It's the same person...but the core personality and Charlie's character is no longer shown in the design. If we didn't have the two previous designs to fall on to, and this was what we were introduced to, with no knowledge of who this character was, tell me....what would this design tell you about this character? She's a business woman probably and she's probably nice. Not a lot compared to the other previous designs.

It gets confusing whenever they mention Hell in Hazbin, are they actually referring to all of Hell, or just the Pride Ring? The Vees, for instance, are said to run their respective industries of Hell.

With Vox and Valentino, the former's broadcast control is questionable seeing how Satan made all of Hell watch Blitzo 's execution. The latter makes you wonder what Asmodeus thinks that some random Sinner is leading all of Hell's porn, especially how Angel Dust gets promoted in Lust, steering Oz's people out from his domain.
1740789086917.jpeg

Though in that regard, having Hellborns advertise Sinner activity in the other rings does seem beneficial for the Overlords to expand their business horizons. On the flip side, why would the average Sinner see the need for Hellborns taking up space in Pride. Most jarring on Extermination Day, since apparently Exorcists don't attack buildings, what's stopping Sinners to break into an Imp City residence or I.M.P Headquarters, massacre the neighborhood, and chill inside whilst the Extermination's happening?

Yeah, Helluva Boss kinda threw a wrench in Hazbin's world building. Neither show can't raise the stakes too high without affecting what goes on in the other. Could work under the right circumstances, but it just limits the possibilities for plot progression.
